I had my car's front break pads and disc renewed in November for £234. I found on my initial first contact with you that you were not bothered to fully check the squeek from my breaks and said you can test drive it, when I asked you if you would be able to do a diagnostic to see if there's anything else causing this, you said no I can test drive it so I said OK yes please. You kept asking me do I think the squeek is coming from the front or the back? I am not the mechanic you are and you should take time as your job to fully inspect the issue. It felt as if you was almost wanting me to say the front or the back to diagnose my car, we proceeded to say its the front, not even a week after my car had new break pads and discs the squeek is even worse and more high pitched and is happening everytime I break now. Due to my working hours I have missed you on evenings every time. I managed to catch you this evening and you did not seem bothered to help at all and that was clearly as you had finished for the day! I explained that I can not get to you due to my working hours and i feel my car is worse since you done it and you would not take 5 minutes to test drive and see what I meant with the squeek or attempt to rectify a mistake you had made or the issue at hand. I understand you may be busy but I have paid for a service and I feel since you completed that service my car has been worse off. You was not helpful, I would like a full refund due to, you will not be able to help me as I can not get to you in your working hours and my car has been worse off since you done it. I would like you to call me as soon as possible you should have my number on file as a paying customer in your business. If I do not receive a call by Friday I will call you myself.Shannon Williams

Just had a very unpleasant experience with this garage. Went in to see if I could have a problem diagnosed and properly quoted and all I got was attitude. Rolled his eyes whilst listening for the noise and whilst explaining the issues. complete lack of interest and found him to be extremely rude and arrogant. Not the service I was expecting from.a garage with so many good reviews. He couldn't be bothered to give a proper diagnosis or a proper quote. He plucked a number out of thin air and said about that amount. No quote from parts no nothing. So I'll just hand over my car shall I with no clear idea or total costs apart from your made up quote and you just charge whatever you want on the day. As I said very rude and very ignorant. If you didn't want to do the job or was too busy you could have done it nicely and just said. He didn't have to get aggressive when we refused and tried to leave either. Not a nice man or experience. Needless to say went 5 miles into Peterborough to another garage who was extremely helpful. Listened to all the details, offered to check the car over if I waited for a mechanic to finish current job which I did. Car diagnosed full quote given, including all parts. Quote was 200 cheaper than this garage's magical quote. With his attitude o don't know how you ever keep customers. I certainly won't inconvenience him again.

My wife actually found this great guy, as I needed someone local to perform an overdue FULL SERVICE on my Volvo V40 for me & was not going to pay dealership rates, but still obviously wanted a highly-skilled job. I was not disappointed - I called in personally near to Christmas 2022 & Dan was very polite & welcoming. He thankfully had a slot just after new year. The care & attention he paid my car was amazing considering I was a new customer - to the fact that even though he had to go & collect a car miles away that had been in an accident that day, he still got my car finished on time for collection when promised. Considering the extra work & parts needed after his thorough inspection, the price was very reasonable & I wholeheartedly recommend this man. Had a problem with my car before the jubilee bank holiday, rang around several other garages who couldn't squeeze me in before the weekend. TDM agreed to take a look, despite being fully booked up, and had me back on the road before the weekend hit.
