I rarely leave a bad review, but have never been made to feel more unwelcome than in this awful little place.

The 5 stars is only for their Beer Festival which apparently is an annual event on the May Day weekend every year. We didn't try their food and I have no idea what their usual choice of beers is like. The festival had an excellent range of cask conditioned beers from dark mild through various pale ales to super strong ale. The session beers were very good choice, especially if you wanted to sample quite a few brews.

Absolutely poor, walked in and was refused service? it was 10.04, very rude service do not bother. Furthermore, another customer notably older, ordered a wine and was served!!! Bar closing time not advertised.
