We went in for food & drinks tonight & it was such a cozy, relaxed atmosphere! Great selection of drinks & the food was delicious - I had the halloumi and roasted courgette burger! ?? Already booked in for a Sunday roast in a few weeks time! Thank you Carl and Amy ?

Took my Aprillia Falco to the bike night Mondays. Had a good chat with fellow bikers. An excellent woodfired pizza , one of the best I've had. You get a pizza and soft drink for a tenner. Good turnout of bikes again both classics and modern.

We recently hosted a private party at The Cross Keys in Upwood, and honestly, it couldn?t have gone better! ??
From the moment we arrived, the team who?ve recently taken over made us feel so welcome. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly all afternoon ? nothing was too much trouble.
The space itself is beautifully decorated, with a warm, relaxed vibe and plenty of room for everyone to mingle, eat, and enjoy. It struck the perfect balance between modern comfort and cosy pub charm.
The weather on the afternoon wasn't great - so we never got chance to use the outdoor seating area on the decking, but the seating out here looked really enticing.
The highlight? The wood-fired pizzas from Mooi Pizzas served throughout the afternoon ? absolutely delicious! ?? Perfect for a laid-back party setting, and they went down a treat with our guests.
Huge thanks to the Cross Keys team for helping make our event so memorable. Highly recommend for private parties, family gatherings or just a relaxed meal and a pint. We?ll definitely be back!

Very good village pub. Great atmosphere for a classic 500yr old pub nestled in the English countryside. Great BBQ provided by @Hokey Smokey Pit Master BBQ every Wednesday during spring, summer and fall.

First time going to the Hokey Smokey Night, had the Brisket and it was amazing, staff were really friendly and looked after us well. the chef took time to chat to us and ask if everything was OK. definitely recommend this and will be going back.
