Played yesterday as a 4 ball and throughly enjoy the whole experience. Pro in the shop was really helpful and informative. Course in great shape considering the weather with all the greens running well and true. Few tees could do with some tlc but again we?re coming to the end of a long dry summer. Bunkers generally good but just a few lacking on sand but again it?s had replacing sand in every bunker at the same time. Few Estrella?s were n the terrace watching others struggle on a great 18th is always fun and talking to another 4 ball all the way from Diss who equally enjoyed the place.

Great course, long walks between some holes

Myself and three friends played golf here yesterday. The course was tough but really enjoyable and in excellent condition considering the dry spell. The lady behind the bar was very welcoming and so was the lady at the halfway house. All the members seemed really friendly. The only thing to sour our experience was the man in the pro shop, who was rude and ignorant. He made it quite clear that he didn?t want to be there. Maybe he was having an off day, but he could have at least pretended to be welcoming. It won?t stop us coming back though, as the course was lovely and in the main, everybody else there was great. I would have given 5 stars but for out pro shop experience.

Pro shop very good, golf course in tip top condition, although we picked a maintenance day. The course it's self is pleasant, and challenging. The greens were good even though they had been spoke. Clubhouse very clean , good beer at good priced, and food excellent, all very friendly staff

The positive- course and greens are in great condition. Kudos to the agronomy staff.
The negative- this is probably the most unwelcoming club I?ve ever been to. Clearly the staff didn?t want to be there, and/or didn?t want non members there.
Take your £30 green fee and play literally any other course in the U.K..
Will never return.
