Rooms are good, the whole place feels well looked after inside. Exactly what's expected from this type of hotel.
The car park has never been looked after, very overgrown with bushes and weeds, the surface looks like the top of Grandma's apple crumble.
The "landscape planting" that looked ok when it was first opened a decade ago has never been attended to, there's rubbish everywhere and no bind to put it in.
The attached "pub" is simply vile. Absolutely the worst breakfast, a chilly "hot" evening meal and greasy staff mean that this venue is getting a swerve.
The location is great for exploring the area, but the proximity of the main road can feel intrusive if you have an issue with road noises.
Rooms: Clean, well looked after, comfy
Food & drinks: Avoid the attached "pub" at all costs.

No air con but there was a fan in the room and windows open still the room temps were 20 - 25 most of the time granted it was a hot days . And breakfast was served in the pub opposite which was excellent.

Breakfast served at the pub next-door. Would have been nice if you had told us Breakfast ends at 845am so we missed it by 5 minutes
Food & drinks: Pub next door managed by local Brits who have the most disgraceful attitude. None of them should be in the hospitality industry

Rooms were not clean. Sheets were not clean, checked with uv light, and i wished I never toe nail clipping on the floor. When you walk through to get to the lifts, you are hit with this horrible smell. Staff are friendly

Apart from booking in then there was not much in the way of personal service, but that?s fine for just having somewhere to sleep . The hotel is located a bit too far from the town centre to walk regularly so not ideal if you want to avoid using the car. There is a bus stop to town a short walk from the hotel or taxis can be called from a telephone in the main entrance. Overall it is great for a place to sleep but not good if you want a hotel experience.

One night stop over with the kids. Super friendly staff in both the premier inn and the in the crown chef and brewer pub next to it. The gent on reception switched our room so we didn?t have far to go. We arrived too late for food and so had to order just eat takeaway. Enjoyed a couple of pints playing games in the bar with the kids while we waited for our food. The lady in the pub let us borrow plates and cutlery too. We had Indian take away which was so lovely. Breakfast in the morning was served in the crown. The continental elements were played out buffet style and they took an order for cooked breakfast. So lovely and fresh!
Couple of minor issues with the room - bathroom light flashed constantly and made you feel like you were on the set of stranger things ?. The usb charging port by the bed was broken and the toilet took huge effort to flush. Other than that, perfectly clean and comfortable. One of the best premier inns we?ve stayed in.

Fantastic staff. Special mention to Andy. Easily one of the best receptionists in a Premier Inn I've ever met. Friendly, chatty and always smiling. Goes above and beyond ( you need to look after him). A fantastic asset to the hotel. All other staff friendly too. Rooms are great and I can't fault this hotel at all.

Rooms are quite spacious and come with everything u need would be good to have a plug near your bed though as not all phone chargers are usb. Staff are very polite and extremely helpful

We asked for an accessible room, with a shower, was told we should have phoned before our visit to ask for one. Although on their website it said all rooms were accessible. Very noisy room, when people opened the corridor door to get into the hotel it caused a vacuum and our bedroom door made a noise. It made a noise all night. We told the receptionist, but she said there was nothing that could be done. Not acceptable.

Andy gave a warm welcome upon arrival and totally got how frazzled I was from a long journey!Rooms: My room was clean, smelled lovely, every appliance worked, and was well maintained.
