I?ve recently moved to St Neots and have been renovating our garden. We went to the local merchants for some top soil as well as other house materials. There was none in stock at the time but were told we would be informed immediately when it arrived. Andy was great help and assured us this wouldn?t take too long, as we wanted to do it whilst the weather was good (it was also half the price of B and Q). When it did come in a couple days this was delivered whilst I was at work, only my partner and our young baby were indoors. The driver Alex and her colleague kindly dragged two 500l bags round the back to our fence which leads to the garden, which they did not have to do, they could have dumped at the front door like many large companies would have. Alex kept me updated with regular texts and their help is much appreciated.
Great cost, service, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Recently moved to the area and wanted a shelf so decided to visit the local branch in the Wintringham estate. Wasn't sure where to park so ended up driving up the yard to turn round. A young girl was driving a fork lift and decided to block us, gesturing from the cab by putting both hands in the air, suggesting why are you in this part! When we went into the shop, she appeared behind the counter and I asked what her problem was, she said she was asking if we wanted help? I dont think so.I told her she had an attitude and was rude which she then accused me of.Terrible attitude to potential customers, will never go there again.

Very poor service from St Neots branch, kept me waiting 3 weeks for refund. I ordered 4 trellis panels online. They tried to deliver 3 of the wrong type. So i sent them back and asked them to advise me if/when they would deliver what i'd ordered. Took 3 weeks to eventually get a refund, ignored emails, didn't call back etc. Turns out the panels I bought on their website cannot be supplied by them. Do not recommend, will not be using again.

This morning I ordered two full sheets of plywood for my sons giant GCSE DTE exam piece and it has arrived this afternoon. Super quality plywood, fantastic, friendly and helpful service at St Neots. He'll be delighted to see these when he gets back from school. The name has changed but the good old fashioned Ridgeons service is still live and kicking. Thank you Huws Gray St Neots.
