Excellent and welcoming service, clean and quiet lounge and, most importantly, Neck Oil in Soham and in the proper glass. What's not to like. I need to persuade mine hosts to venture to this part of town.

I came to the pub just looking to enjoy a night out ? have a drink, sing some karaoke, and meet new people. I ended up chatting with a group of women, and when one of them seemed down, I tried to lift her spirits, because that?s just who I am. I always try to bring good energy wherever I go.
But then, out of nowhere, I was approached and told that one of the women felt uncomfortable ? and that I had to leave. No conversation. No chance to explain. Just asked to go.
I wasn?t loud. I wasn?t aggressive. I wasn?t disrespectful in any way. I was just being friendly ? like anyone would be in that situation. That?s why it hit me so hard.
It felt like I wasn?t being judged for my actions, but for something deeper ? maybe my accent, where I?m from, or how I look. It felt like I was being profiled, and that cuts deep. It?s a painful feeling to be treated like you don?t belong just because of your background.
I left feeling humiliated and unwelcome. No one deserves that ? especially when they?ve done nothing wrong. I hope this message helps people think twice before making assumptions. All I wanted was to enjoy the evening like everyone else.

Sylvia is a gem.
It's rare you find a locals pub that is run for locals and yet still welcoming to visitors.
The beer is looked after and presented perfectly with attention paid from keg to glass.
It's now my local away from home.

Really warm welcoming
and the bar staff are really fast.
And the drinks are price at a resnoble price. Will come back for a drink agine. And The Beers and ciders are fresh and cold.
And the fountain inn is nice and clean.
And the young ish girl behinde the bar who served me was very nice and pasient with me. You need to give her a pay rise.
