Both male and female owners unfriendly and unhelpful every time.
Also, please note they will try to sell you more expensive product than necessary. For example, I asked 100g special delivery envelope and they said they only sell 500g ones. For some reason they said they wouldn?t print the 100g label. So I paid way more than necessary. Total rip off. And not the first time.
Can?t wait until inpost lockers and similar services will fully replace these unpleasant interactions in post office.

I can only thank the kind gentleman at the post office . I had come to collect my parcels but didn't really think about having boxes in the delivery . I walk with a stick and he asked me how I was getting them to my car and where it was . He then offered to take them across the road for me and as I went to my car to wait until he could do so , I noticed the lady who had been behind the till was also taking a package for another lady who needed help . 5 stars from me . Thank you so much

If I could give a zero star review I would. Rude service with no attempt to help. Went to have my gas card topped up and was told abruptly the machine isn't working (which seems to be a regular occurrence). When I asked politely where else I could go he shrugged, looked irritated by my question and dismissed me for the next customer. Where's the care in that service? - even a little compassion for the fact I could be in a situation where I have small children and no hot water would have gone a long way. Kindness costs nothing

Don't go there when it is really bussy as the owner and his wife has an attitude problem. And they are bothe swearing when there are customers.
Avoide if you are sending evri parcles go to Burwell and go to the corner shop there and do your everi parceles there. As the people are very friendley inside

I had a very disappointing experience at the Shoam Post Office. The staff were extremely unfriendly and came across as rough and arrogant in their behaviour. There was a clear lack of professionalism and courtesy, which made the whole service feel unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this branch based on my experience.

Poor service at Soham Post Office today (12/05/25 around 2 PM). Asked about postage for a letter, but the staff member was more interested in scanning packages. Barely looked at me or the envelope before saying it needed two stamps. Must have calibrated hands to not need the use of a scale. My later research suggests only one stamp would have sufficed. Disappointing and felt of no importance.

Really impressed with the service at the post office today. The man and woman behind the counter were not only efficient but incredibly kind and considerate. They took extra care explaining postage options and were so respectful and attentive to a customer with a disability. It?s heartwarming to see that level of compassion?thank you both!

I would give 0 stars if that option was available. The male attendant on Saturdays is very arrogant and rude. This is the second time it has happened to me. No apology if he makes mistakes and the only thing he cares about it to get through the queue as quick as possible without treating customers fairly. Once you've paid for the item he gives you advice that you should have chosen a different kind of postage. Very unhelpful and argumentative mentality. I'd rather travel further away than visit this store again. Manners don't cost a penny!

Absolutely awful experience. Male owner stood laughing at me struggling to write my address on an envelope, then wouldn?t give me the address of the passport office. I?d been told by the passport ppl online to send it through the post office as the rest was done online! But he said he didn?t know an address for them. He continued laughing and chuckling as he charged me 35p for the useless self addressed envelope. Wouldn?t use them again if they were the last one on earth.

The male owner refuses to print labels for parcels? I couldn't believe it either, but yes he printed off 5 evri labels and then said I had to go to the back of the que for him to print another 5. There were 2 people in the que waiting at this point. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour to a young woman posting parcels to those in need... We avoid in the future and go to the wonderful burwell who are always happy to help and don't make you feel like an inconvenience
