Our group of 13 people had pre-booked and were accommodated in an attractive, warm room upstairs. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The Sunday roast beef was delicious and very tender - the best I've had for a long while. The general atmosphere in the pub was welcoming and friendly and I'll definitely go back there.

We were a party of 10 people for Sunday lunch on 8 December. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere great! Would certainly recommend.

Had a delicious beef roast and a pint of spinny cider. Couldn't recommend it more! Only complaint is we had been sitting for 10-15 minutes before our order was taken and there was only one other table.

Lovely village pub serving good honest food. Staff greet every customer like a friend. Dog friendly. Took my brother and his American girlfriend for Thursday night "pie and a pint" followed by a great game of bar billiards. It doesn't get any more quintessentially English than this. She absolutely loved it.
