I popped down to the post office yesterday (bank holiday), i hand a feeling the post office would be closed due to bank holiday but thought I?d check anyways, there was an employee who looked old with long grey and black hair with glasses, I politely asked him if the post office was open he replied very rudely ?it?s bank holiday, the same as the last one, the one before that and the one before that? his demeanor was very disgusting and I could not believe the sarcasim and the disrespect when all I needed was help, I didn?t know WHSmith employs people like this, isn?t customer service supposed to be about helping people, i was very upset leaving and definitely will be returning, i am truly and utterly disgusted.

The post office is the only reason I use this branch now. The store is dull with minimal lighting, presumably a cost saving measure, and there is hardly any staff.

Used the post office maybe 4-5 times? Theres only been one occasion where something isnt either "out of service due to technical fault" or not closing early. Its always had at most one person working behined the counter and if they are open theres always a queue. Judging by the reviews its been understaffed and limping along for about 5 years now.I dont want to have my post delivered where it can be stolen, but if I cant even pick up a package without the worry of the store closing early or there being another fault with thier self service or the desk being understaffed then there isnt really much choice. I really hope they step up soon as they should be front runners for quality being in the city center.

The worst post office ever.The guy behind the desk is amazing helpful but the whole post office area dirty filthy massive queue they should have 2 staff all the time.

Really lovely lady on the till today but far too busy on Black Friday for her to be on her own and only 1 self service till working . Management please take note.

Dirty - there is a really dirty feel of this store, particularly in the post office area. In desperate need of a vacuum and clean!

Did anybody noticed they have PaperMate Gel Pens G610 Glide on half price sale at £4.99. Asda sells exact pens at £3 full price. Now tell me, how is that fair? Exact same quality as I just bought them from Asda too.
