Mobile phone blackout spot. You cannot get a phone signal at all inside this Travelodge and despite it being a mild September day the rooms inside were so warm we had to have the window open all night with a battered dust-filled fan barely balanced on the window sill, laid listening to all the traffic going past and lorries idling on the roadside below the window. They obviously know it gets too warm there - every window open and all the heaters unplugged. It was 14 degrees outside, so not related to weather.
Room was clean, bed comfy, tv worked, so at least there was that. No USB sockets like other Travelodges.
Sits next to a petrol station with a Greggs inside and a coffee shop is on the side of the building. McDonalds nearby. Main road runs parallel. Noisey.

The rooms are tired and need touching up. Plaster is coming away, grout missing, bathroom basic. Room was Very warm. There's no air con in the room. There was a desk top fan switched on when we arrived. It remained on throughout the night, but it was blowing warm air around (25'c day time, 12'c night time).
There's a petrol station, McDonald's, Greggs and Starbucks on the same site, handy for breakfast in the morning and a coffee for the road.
For the price the room was OK, considering the prices around the area and the short time we needed to put our head down and get back on the road. We would not stay hear again.

My son is disabled who i travelled with. He was in his disabled pushchair when we checked in my husband had booked our room and requested ground floor due to his disabilities. We got put upstairs so I presumed there was a lift, went to find my room and there is no lift so had to carry my son, bags and disabled chair upstairs

The rooms are pretty basic but clean. No aircon AND a chain on the window! In this bloody heat? No phone inside the rooms and the hotel number is a premium rate number! So if you need to call down to reception they are absolutely cooning it in. There's no WiFi and they definitely have rf blockers installed (which is illegal) because youbget reception outside of the building but nothing once inside..so you can't even hot-spot your phone...all so they can squeeze that little bit extra out of you for the wifi.
Absolutely deplorable business tactics, never again.

Had a great experience staying here and she?s made it even better, so patient and so lovely. Always up for a chat but most of all answered all our concerns and questions with a big smile. We?ve never been in eye or let alone to Peterborough and she recommended so many places and sights to see, great recommendations with great food.
If we were to travel to Peterborough again we?re definitely coming back to this hotel because she made the experience. Once again thank you Jelena. :)

Staff are brilliant, rooms quite clean, McDonald's within walking distance, fuel ,Greg's inside Asda fuel station ,coffee shop attached to hotel , My only complaint would be if using the bath you need to be 4 foot or less if not use shower

Travelling from holiday to home and using Travelodge as a half way stop off point. Easy to find off motorway. Lovely lady on reception. Room spacious and clean. Good hot shower. Bed large and comfortable. Great value for money. Coffee shop next door and 3 minutes walk to McDonald's for early evening food after long drive.

2 night stay mid Aug. Friendly and lovely staff and convenient location off A47. Food available at McDonalds and ASDA fuel station within walkable distance. Room has plenty of space but not very sound proof and does not have air con, staff has provided us with a fan. For the price per night the hotel was good value for money.
