So we booked the sibson inn for our wedding, what can we say except a massive thank you. They made the day amazing. From booking Diane and her team were amazing, no detail too small to help. We loved the laid back, open approach through this we had the wedding we wanted rather than a forced cookie cutter approach. Costs are very reasonable and you get a lot of wedding for your money. Staff are all amazing, friendly and approachable nothing was too much trouble and they helped us both so much. Our guests all commented on how amazing the staff and venue was. Thank you for helping us have the wedding of our dreams .Rooms: Clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views and quiet. Couldn't ask for more.Food & drinks: Amazing, massive shout out to their chef very adaptable and willing to encompass everyones needs, allergys and ethics whilst including all our guests in afternoon tea.

WOW! We booked the Sibson Inn for our wedding on Saturday and my goodness we made the right choice, from start to finish each and every single one of the staff have been incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, they were sooo soo lovely, friendly, warm and welcoming. And wow they run a tight ship. Every aspect of our day was smooth, the attention to detail, timing and service was the best of the best! We had both our ceremony and reception here, and I don't think I could have done it without all the amazing staff making sure I was ready. Looking after our guests, running around behind the scenes to make sure our day was as perfect as possible. They absolutely smashed it! We had canapes, drinks, 3 course meal and late evening food, the drinks flowed, and I can honestly say the food was amazing!I could not recommend them enough for anyone wanting a wedding venue! They really know how to make your day stress free and beautiful. We can't wait to come back and see you all again soon. Thank you sooo soo much for being so incredibly amazing!!!!!!

Slow at the bar and table service, not the easiest of place for return journey.

An iconic place. Perfectly positioned a stone?s throw away from the A1. Serves very well the function, since time immemorial, of a welcoming inn for the weary traveller. We have stayed here with our dogs countless times over the years on our travels north. Comfortable rooms which are surprisingly quiet despite the proximity of the A1 - must be those 2 foot thick stone walls and the courtyard design. Always a warm welcome in the evening with a drink at the bar and sometimes dinner. Once you?ve settled in you can leave all the stress of driving behind. Satisfying full English breakfast in the morning before setting off refreshed. We love it.

Lovely place to stay- room was clean and spacious. Had dinner in the bar (so the dog could stay with us), friendly service and nice food (we had scampi & chips).Breakfast was nice and again friendly service. A great stop off point on our journey and would use again.

Arrived late after a 12hour drive so didn't see any staff, key left in door so simple to gain access, didn't use any other service so can't comment, perfectly placed on A1 so didn't have to go off route to find it,room was comfy with plenty of tea and coffee available, would definitely stay again.

Good little gem, stayed overnight heading from Dartford to Yorkshire. Good room though a little dated. Nice inside pub and good food.

Approached the Sibson Inn Hotel/Restaurant front well signed A1M very quaint building full of character, large car park at rear, sign posted to reception, met by friendly staff who booked us in! We were escorted to our room, shown around, we were lucky we had a four poster bed with a small chandelier no less ! The bar had a good selection of drinks and spirits, for dinner I was recommended the Steak Pie really lovely! We booked here because we were going on the Nene Valley Train Experience a few minutes away. The full English Breakfast was lovely, in fact everything about this hotel was lovely. Just like to say thank you to the staff for a lovely stay!

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the next village. The guy that greeted us and served at the bar went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble for him, he was friendly and polite and good fun (Brett I think his name was). Me and my partner both enjoyed our stay and found the bed very comfortable. Thank you Sibson Inn and Brett of course ??

We were staying here to facilitate getting from Cambridgeshire to Scotland/Yorkshire, so we didn't experience the on site food or meet any of the staff in person, but we got a text a few days before to confirm our booking, we explained we were arriving late/leaving early, instructions were sent which were straight forward and text communication was great. We had a breakfast left for us to have in the morning in our room with a little vat of milk/cereal/fruit and fruit juice which was perfect. Room was clean, comfy, tv excellent, bathroom lovely and room was warm, parking felt safe and secure round the back and was dog friendly, would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 days and 2 nights. The hotel is rustic with a farm house type feel. Great views, quiet but also close to a main link road for ease of travel. The hotel is what appears to be 1700s farm buildings converted into a hotel. When I stayed (Feb 2023) it was very clean and well presented with very helpful staff. The full English breakfast was nice (if a tad small for a grown man) and reasonably priced, served with real fresh coffee. If you like the all glass, plastic and metal ultra clean modern look this place definitely isn't for you but if you want a traditional, peaceful countryside inn that reflects rural England then you won't be disappointed. The inn has an onsite bar and restaurant too with plenty of free on-site parking.

We were passing and stopped for coffee. So much nicer than a service station. Nice coffee, nice quiet surroundings, friendly service, what more could you want?

We have stayed here on many occasions. We visited for a meal to celebrate early Valentine?s Day. There were only a few people in the restaurant. We ordered leek and potato soup for starter. On arrival it looked ok but very watery and that is what it tasted like! Water. We sent it back. We then ordered steak, £25 per head. Omg, the steak was full of fat and thin. I wish I?d taken a photo, it was all brown greasy food. The chips were in skins and dripping with fat. The mushrooms were shrivelled and wet with grease. No peas, just a tomato! Our food was returned to the kitchen. An absolutely awful meal. We still paid £50 for it, absolutely shocked how very bad it was. The only good part was the lovely waiter who was very apologetic
