Stopped by for Sunday lunch. Really enjoyed it as the meat (turkey, pork, gammon and beef which you can have a bit of all of) and veg were all good and cooked well. Chocolate sponge pudding was gorgeous! Staff friendly and welcoming, will be back for sure.

Awful experience. The food was not good. Undercooked fish.after the long wait some meals missing. Meals all came out at different times. Owner said chef had walked out. If that was the case they should of closed the kitchen until they found a new chef as the service was abismal. To top it off owner then basically accused us of trying to get a free meal and asked us why we didn't the salad. Who would eat the salad after leaving the rest of the meal. Takeaway do a better job than this place. We even ordered a drink which got served with flat lemonade and had to reorder. Avoid at all Costs and head to McDonald's down the road if you want better quality a d a friendly service. Plus All the food will arrive together

Absolutely awful, please don't waist your time or money. We had a very large table booked (in advance) and we pre ordered food. Staff was minimal, apparently the chef walked out last week and that was the excuse they used as to why the food was so shockingly s@&t. I refused to pay for our meals, we did how ever pay for the ice cream as the kids did eat that. When I asked to speak to the manager about the bill they became argumentative, he said I'd eaten most of my INEDIBLE food (which I hadnt) shocking service, rank food, dingy dirty pub. I will not return and want to warn anyone else before they decide to visit.

Before transitioning i was a regular and even the captin of 2 pool teams. New owners came in and i had moved away. I came back a couple of times, the first time i chatted to the landylady saying about my feelings ect..... all was ok and excepted. Next time, with my mates and regulars, as well as not too out there or dressed totaly fem. I/we all was confronted with total hostility from so called mates and even landlady ect. Was met with loads of abuse. SO BE WARNED.... LGBTQAI+... DO NOT GO!! so very sad as it was my local hang out VERY DISAPOINTED.

Wonderful time here! It?s a great pub with amazing food, and it has so many nods to Only Fools and Horses besides the name. The people who work here are very friendly, the pup is a mooching sweetheart, and the whole atmosphere is just terrific.

We arrived as a family group, from the moment we entered we were all made most welcome, the service and food was excellent and unlike other establishments we were allowed to plate our own veg etc. Great service, experience and value for money.

Went for a meal here with friends. Really nice food....home cooked and perfect. I had the curry which was one of the nicest curries I've ever had. They do a carvery roast on Sunday lunchtime, my friends have had it and said it was delicious so we're all going back on a Sunday!. The outside of the pub needs "tarting up" a little but don't be put off. The food and friendly staff is worth stepping in the door. You'll be greeted by a little, slightly chunky dog called Bart....he barks at the door then becomes your best friend if you want that, if not he'll just leave you alone.
