Came into tesco on the 15th July at around 20.55 went to the customer service where a lady called Beth was really rude and refused service for a lighter,when I am over 50 and daughter is over 23 years old,had identification too.Then she said the tills are now off as I am cashing up and we shut at 21.00.she was not cashing up and I then showed her the time,but she shrugged her shoulders and said oh well.I asked where we could maybe get some matches and she said I don't know.we then had to ask another cashier who told us where they were.we then bought them and showed my daughters ID.Which she was happy with.The lady at customer service was the rudest lady and shouldn't be put working helping customers,when she clearly isn't helpful and is more bothered about shutting up early than working her full shift and ensuring customers are happy.

I came into the shop yesterday (17/6), it's a lovely clean shop, staff are great, the gentleman who helped me on the self service was very very helpful, my husband was not well when we arrived on the self service checkout, my husband had used my credit card to pay for our shopping and had left the card behind, when I arrived back in the store, the staff who work on the self service till had my card, I would love to thank him for his patience, kindness towards us both, he was lovely, as he gave back my card, wonderful service. With all due respect to the Tesco employees I know personally, who have helped me many times with products that were no longer/yet on the store shelves but were available in the warehouse, allowing me to buy them.
However, today?s assistance at the bakery section was a scandal. The employee returned from the sales floor?I have no idea how long they had been there or how many things they had touched?but packing bread with dirty hands, without washing them or using gloves, is unacceptable. Bread cannot be washed, sterilized, or otherwise cleaned? I cannot remove bacteria introduced in such a foolish and thoughtless way.
The employee?s excuse that they were only away from the bakery section for a short while is a joke. I don?t care how long it was.
Wash your hands or wear gloves.

Very disappointed, a member of your staff was harassing my teenage daughter. When she tried to walk away from him he grabbed her forcefully by the shoulder and said ?don?t you walk away from me? she reacted to this by pushing him away and told him not to touch her! She was then humiliated by one of your security team and escorted from your store. I have tried contacting the store tonight without success as no one answers the phone. I am very unhappy about the staff member who I won?t mention on this forum but will be naming when I sent a formal complaint to your head office. My daughter is very upset by the misogynistic behaviour that she received from your team member.

Keep getting denied service will trying to buy cigarettes with a 14 year old even though I have provided id and made clear he was a minor before purchasing and again this happened today we have spoken with the manager, and he was absolutely no help it seems this employee either has it out for me or needs proper training as she clearly wasn?t provided it.

Poor, after a large shop I discovered a pen set at £12.00 on my bill. I did not purchase this. I tried to ring the store but there is no option to speak to customer services & it seems impossible to speak to anyone in any department. It would appear Tesco do not want to hear any problems we have. Do I now drive the 5 miles back to the store?

Very expensive, even compared to other Tesco stores. I bought a "Club card price" coconut milk in another Tesco for £1.50 yesterday - Here it's £3.99 at Club card price..
