I have shopped at Tesco Extra multiple times over the years. I think this is the largest Tesco supermarket in Peterborough. It serves as a one-stop shop for the majority of your essential needs, offering everything from food to fashion, mobile stores, opticians, and chemists. It closes later than any major supermarket in the city, which is great if you want to escape the throng and hustle. A decent time to shop without having to wait in a huge queue is after 9 p.m. That is, if all you are doing is grocery shopping. By then, the remaining services would have ceased operations. The weird sight I see in this mall is women going around in their bathrobes and slippers out shopping! What a sight!

There is a horrific smell of sewage and dirt throughout the store, seems that some staff are wearing facemasks to possibly try and make it more bearable for them to work in! Wouldn't dream of eating at the café while that smell is present, what on earth is going on there?

The whole place smells of fecal matter and sewage. I have a strong stomach and down the dairy aisle I almost threw up it's so bad. I can't face visiting ever again. It's been going on for years and only getting worse and no one seems to care to fix it.I cannot shop here anymore.

It is a good size and well stocked. The fruit and veg is usually fresh. However, the past few times I?ve visited, there has been a smell of sewage in the store and the main mall. The last time I was there, I had to leave and go elsewhere, as the smell was unbearable. This is going to be in the air and on the food! Sort it out, please! Not good enough.

Revamped and a great asset! The Cafe is wonderful! Ordering is so easy and straight forward using the self service screens at the front of the cafe. The tables are always clean. There are plenty of condiments on the counter. Cutlery is given out with each order. Service is speedy and staff really are polite and friendly. Compliments to the chef - each time I?ve visited, my orders have been outstanding! Thank you to all staff at The Cafe! A more streamlined way of doing things which is an excellent move! Well done Tesco Hampton!

Worst ever car park, they have closed off all but one exit to the overflow car park and no one can get out of it.

A large Tesco extra store which was once good, but now provides the worst customer experience in town. Check out is now mainly self - scan where either they run out of scanners or don?t open the self scan checkout or automated check out. Now they only employ the most disinterested or arrogant staff to work in between gossiping in the automated checkout area, so they can judge you when you need a rescan or when your empty bag doesn?t register. If you want a terrible experience shop here. If you want a better customer experience shop at the nearby M and S food or ALDI, or try Sainsbury?s or Waitrose ?

Not what it used to be. One entrance is always closed now so you have to walk all the way down depending which side you come in. Staff are quite ignorant and seem more than happy to block up aisles with trolleys and cages. The attendants on self service are far too wrapped up in this week's gossip to realise anybody needs help. Used to be way better in the 2000's. If it wasn't my local supermarket I wouldn't bother.
