“It's probably the same as most Next stores. My one gripe is, I cannot walk well but they have the lift at the back of the store. So to view anything upstairs I have to walk for ages to go up and down. All very well for able bodied people who can use stairs.”

“I don’t know the name of the lovely sales assistant that helped me today (they had long dark hair) but they were working at 11:40 on 7/7 and they were so helpful. I wish I’d caught their name to give them some feedback. They answered all my questions and were just generally a pleasure to meet. Really happy with my purchase. “This Matalan is so good! We’ve been looking for red socks and new P.E bag for changing my clothes which are new stuff for my new high school. And also they improved the store by moving the checkout tills to the other side near the entrance/exit door which is now a exit from the tills and the old way is now only for emergency exit whilst the fitting rooms were moved too as the old one got replaced by an extention of the Mens aisle. Best store ever! ?”

“Bought some boots here and they were dead after 3 uses. Tights are also very expensive but very weak and cheaply made. Still 4 star though as i do like some of the clothes I've purchsed here”

“Staff was really helpful but a bit of a wait due to back to school shopping. Very limited choice this year for my daughter who is 8 and a size 3. She didnt want a strap as apparently its to babyish but there was only 1 shoe without one. Unfortunately they didnt have them in.”

“Good quality and variety. When they do sales its really easy to grab a bargain. The only downside is delivery charge - you get it delivered to your door or you pick up at the nearest store its both ways £4.99. I believe store pick up shouldn't charge this much.”

“We asked for assistance and came a bit unstuck. Angela was great in helping us seek what we were looking for and super informative in helping us acquire our product. Despite it not visibly being in stock, we left empty handed and headed to another store. Moments after walking into the other store, a lovely (flustered) Chelsea came running after us from New look and flagged us down with every effort to let us know they did in fact have the product we required. So with that, we followed the lovely Chelsea who was probably mortified she had to run across the other side of the balcony to grab us, but the bottom line is...the store delivered and displayed a fantastic effort of teamwork leaving us very entertained and thankful. Great work team.

“A bog standard sports direct, ran by Mike Ashley. Store was edged on selling cheap accessories. But staff was decent and had good service. This was indeed a shock but a pleasant shock. I do think that staff could do with more assistance due to the demand not being met with wait times.”
