Went to click and collect to collect order. Waited 10 mins for chap to come out but in meantime 3 just eat/ deliveroo drivers rocked up and pushed in front , getting seen to before us. Wasn't happy!!!

I recently had a disappointing experience at Sainsbury's on the 18th of March. My husband and I went in around 9:00 AM to purchase something from the customer service counter. Although my husband doesn't have his own Nectar card, he is an additional collector on my account.
When he went to pay with his phone, I reached for my Nectar card to scan it, but the lady at the till refused to let me use it. She claimed that allowing me to scan my card could lead to fraud, even though my husband is listed as an additional collector on my account. This situation left me frustrated, as it seemed like a simple and valid request. The refusal was puzzling and felt unnecessary, especially given that everything was set up correctly on the account.
I understand the importance of preventing fraud, but in this case, the staff's handling of the situation was less than accommodating. It was an inconvenient and confusing experience, and I hope Sainsbury's can better train their staff to handle such situations more appropriately in the future.

I go here to get specialty items I cannot get at Aldi, but make no mistake they're expensive. They offer many vegan and vegetarian choices.
