Awful Customer Service ? Rude and Discriminatory Staff
I recently visited River Island in Queensgate, Peterborough, to exchange a t-shirt for a bigger size, but was met with shocking customer service. The staff accused me of wearing and washing the t-shirt, which was absolutely ridiculous and completely false. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they were extremely rude and dismissive.
On top of that, their attitude seemed to border on racism. I felt singled out and treated differently because of my background. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any store, especially from a well-known brand like River Island. I would advise anyone to avoid this store unless they want to be treated with disrespect. It?s clear that they care more about making baseless accusations than providing decent customer service.
Save your time and money and shop elsewhere!

My son was lookjng for t shirts he has an eclectic taste amd likes vibrant designs on the backs of them. The guy that was in the store working today was wearing a t shirt my son happened to like we asked the guy if it was from.the store he said yes. We asked if it was still available to buy as we could not see it on the shop floor. He went to find a scanner to see if they had any left. They had 1 left which was my sons size. Great customer service and very helpful in store. Apologies though as we didnt get the guys name.

Check the website about opening timing on Sunday 10:00 and clearly indicating opened on the site, but still waiting to be opened at 10:24 outside the shop, just wasted my 24 minutes here.??

We went there shopping, good selections the shop was very quiet went to try on some clothes the fitting rooms were filthy , very dirty .Rubbish sticky floor , nearly fell over ,chewing gum, liquid on floor I know there are staff issues everywhere but the state of the fitting room was unacceptable.Very very disappointed in River Island.
