Not impressed at all.. I'm only reviewing on my particular visit.. others may have had better.
Reasons for a poor rating are firstly the lasagne.. what a rip off... There was very little meat, it was more like a mince sauce than mince that had been microwaved. Infact I've had better more tasteful cheap microwave lasagnes at home. Plus for over £15 you don't even get a side like a salad or something. That wouldn't have bothered me if the lasagne was a good one but alas it wasn't. It was sloppy and lacked everything... It feels like the bigger the chain then the more they skimp.
Out waitress was lovely but there was another lady working that walked around as though she was in one heck of a mood and extremely uncurtious (in my opinion) to a just eat ot drliveroo rider that was collecting a delivery.
Come on guys, sort out the lasagne or take it off the menu as honestly, it's embarrassing that you call it lasagne.
Apparently on a plus side I hear the pizzas are okay but haven't tried one myself.

The pizza was cold after 1 min to served, they don't have any sauces. ? we asked 5 times about napkins and still didn't get it. We didn't receive what we ordered until we called again. They also overcharged the bill. I'm sure I'll never, ever go back.

Went to Pizza Express for the first time, and I wasn't very impressed. When we walked in, we were taken to our table and instantly asked what we wanted to drink, we had t even looked at the menu.
We then sat down and chose our drinks and meals. One person had halloumi fries as a starter, they were OK, they were deep fried so all you could taste was oil, the main meals were goats cheese and onion chutney pizza, it tasted nice but you couldn't cut the base as it was so hard, even the pizza cutter couldn't get through the base. The next meal was cannelloni, spinach, and ricotta. The meal looked nice, but there was far too much sauce on the meal, so it ruined it.
Also, the hostess tried to take our plates as we were still eating our food, which I didn't appreciate.
So all in all, I wouldn't go back.

I'm being a little generous with 3 stars.
Possibly the proof between Christmas and New year is hard for this outlet.
Some of my mark is down to the chain rather than the individual outlet.

The Vegan menu is extremely limited. If you have an allergy or need the vegan menu, don't bother coming!
The pizza took 50 minutes to arrived despite the restruant only having a handful of customers and was extremely bland. It was also burnt the whole way around. Only half the pizza had vegan cheese on.
Very disappointing.
Dietary restrictions: Extremely limited.

November 14, we came to Pizza Express to celebrate my birthday and had a really pleasant experience from the festive environment down to the food. The toilets were clean and the service was kind and polite. The manager on the shift was Donna and was very welcoming. Will be coming back. Thank you.

I was shocked at the price I paid for a pizza for my grandson. £30 is well over the top and that was with 50% off the pizza.

Ordered two pizzas through Deliveroo which were complete disgusting. The worst pizzas that I?ve ever seeing in my life.. there are way better and cheaper places to have GOOD QUALITY

Food was up to usual Pizza Express standards. Was very quiet in the restaurant on the day we visited because their card payment service was down. Made for quick service though.
