Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pets at Home Grooming. I brought my dog in expecting professional care and a quality groom ? instead, she was returned to me visibly distressed, still wet, and with no meaningful grooming completed.
She was only in the salon for 10 minutes before I received a call asking me to collect her. I was later told she was ?too stressed to continue,? but this wasn?t properly explained when I arrived. I was still charged £30 for what amounted to a towel dry and minimal brushing ? something I could have done at home in five minutes.
To make matters worse, I was told my deposit had been refunded, but no refund has been received. If your dog shows even the slightest bit of stress, it seems this salon is not equipped to handle them, despite what their brand promises.
Extremely poor communication, service, and value for money. I now have to book her in elsewhere and spend more money to fix what should have been done properly the first time. I won?t be returning ? and I wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their dog?s wellbeing.

I do not want to give even 1 star because I had bad experience. I had similar experience from second store in Peterborough. I went there to buy some fish. A lady came and said that fish will breed so fast and will crowd my aquarium. When I said it's ok, she said that they are keeping fish at 26 degrees and because I am keeping 25 degrees at home fish will die and was not willing to sell the fish. I think that they should give some knowledge to the staffing that tropical fishes can live between 23 -27 degrees. She was really rude to me. I am guessing it's because I am a foreigner.

I find this store always offers a good experience. I visit with the dogs I foster not only to browse and buy but also to give them exposure to buildings, shops and people. I never fail to receive a greeting and offers of assistance, and of course the dogs always get a fuss. The staff are great with advice and recommendations, and always help with the best deals, discounts and vouchers. Every visit is an example of proper customer service and I make a point of completing each post store visit survey because there's always an individual who needs to be recognised, as does the culture and management that provides such a positive experience.

Friendly and genuinely helpful staff. Product I wanted not stocked in Bretton store but they found on their computer, offering to order in for free or me to get from other Peterborough store where they did have it.

Went to the Vet inside of the pets at home. Excellent reception and the price was at lot less than I imagined. The vet nurse was very caring with my dog and extremely helpful.

Such lovely staff and wonderful service. Kirsty in particular was helpful, friendly and very attentive. We went in to adopt a hamster and Kirtsy was kind and reassuring to my daughter, giving her lots of great advice on how to care for her new pet and helped her to pick out the hamster with the most chilled temperament. Thanks very much.
