Absolutely terrible service and will never go back. Came to have a suit altered from my mother?s recommendation and wish I had never visited - it?s a horrendous dilapidated building on a horrible road. I was rushed to put on my suit to have this altered, made to change in a storage cupboard with mould on the ceiling, flaking away paint and despite constantly repeating how I wanted the sleeve length and leg length, this kept being an issue. Telling me ?young people like it like this very short? bear in mind the suit was for my teaching uniform at a secondary school.
Although the lady was reassuring that this would all be done to my specifications with ample time to do the work, I felt apprehensive and wish I?d gone with my instincts and gone away to think about it. She seemed more concerned about her work load and the time frame than the work at hand. I really despised this sort of customer interaction and would have preferred to pay more considering this was quite important to me that it was done with care and quality at the forefront.
After being called to say this would take longer than the original time schedule. I came back to London as I had staff training; my mother picked up the suit and quite frustratingly said all looked fine. When I finally received the suit, I was completely devastated - the stitching has been done on top of sleeves which I specifically asked not to have and the trousers are done terribly. I?m devastated that a suit bought for my 30th birthday and first teaching role that cost around £750 is ruined. The stitching is uneven and even has a fault from the machine which wasn?t corrected, instead they just went over again - clearly showing the lack of care and quality control that you?d expect from someone working with alterations. It?s below any standard I?ve received and now I?ve had to find someone to fix this mistake in London who couldn?t believe someone who do this and obviously I?m now having to pay more to fix a problem that could have been avoided all together.
I think your staff need to understand the value of clothing and if unable or unsure that they have the skills to do the alterations they should be honest and transparent and discuss with management about having someone competent to fill the out - as oppose to rushing and giving empty promises. This would have alleviated a lot of stress and avoided a lot of unnecessary work. See photos below.

My wedding was in the woods and my dress was absolutely ruined. The entire bottom of it was filthy & threads fraying everywhere - not anymore! Thank you so so much Vicky and team for your incredible service & for bringing my dress back to life. I am completely overwhelmed by the transformation & how beautifully you preserved it for me. I took two duvets here to be cleaned, one King size and one double. When I took three duvets out of their bags, I realised they were NOT my duvets!Obviously, I rang up immediately and was told they'd investigate. A day or two later, the Manager, Vicki, emailed. They were very thorough in their investigation but, as I kept stating, tgey were absolutely, 100%, NOT MY DUVETS! All I received was an apology, no compensation, no gesture of goodwill! So, now I have to buy two new duvets! The two I had received will be donated to a local animal charity.I'd like to just add, that the previous time I took a duvet, they l8st it completely!The moral of this story is....if you value your duvets, don't take them here! (Or, at least, take a photo of it and the label and keep your original purchase receipt!)This could have been resolved with compensation and customer service would have been redeemed. However. They failed at that too!Needless to say. I will take my custom elsewhere!Service: General bedding cleaning

Had my suit booked in on 15/05/23, needed it within 3 days on super short notice and the lady behind the desk was extremely kind and chatty. To my surprise, a day later 16/05, my suit was ready when it was booked in for the thursday for collection! After picking up my suit super early, the interaction i had with this other 'new-to-me' lady, was very rude and distasteful... I see my suit hanging up and a gentlemen comes in with a big chair asking for a service, i patiently wait while there's another client outside who can't come in due to the lack of space. 5-10 minutes pass and the lady behind the till is working out the gentlemans price, as i give another new-to-me lady my receipt to pick up my suit, a grab and go job (already paid), she says she doesn't work there but is helping out!?!? Confused i go and wait for the actual employee to be free, while i wait, the employee on 16/05 is rude to me and tells me not to be impatient?!???? At this point i've been waiting 15 minutes in silence and can see my already paid for cleaned suit hanging. While the employee lady is still calculating the price, she mouths to the gentleman with the chair 'hang on a second... this gentleman (me) is being impatient'. I was never once rude or said a wrong word to the lady, yet i get attitude after paying for their service with an added extra early cost. The price was amazing, the first lady on 15/05 was extremely nice, will use again unless the 16/05 lady is there with her unemployed friend.
