Great food, service and location.

I went last night, on 5 October, to eat something as I was starving. I have celiac disease and I told them I needed gluten free. I ordered Camembert cheese with gluten free bread, steak with new potatoes, and they told me they even had gluten free cake. When I was done with the cake, I started feeling very dizzy, nauseated and all symptoms when I have been eating gluten. I asked them again before I left if the cake was gluten free and they said it was. Needless to say I drove 15 min home to Hampton Vale and I threw up allover my car, had to pull over, I was sick and still am. Clearly something they gave me wasn?t gluten free as I got so sick and so fast, which happens when I eat a very big quantity of gluten. I couldn?t move the entire night and my stomach is killing me even today. About this place like the plague ! Horrible and they should not be allowed to advertise gluten free on the menu as clearly they don?t know what it is and what?s not. Oh and I absolutely know how I react when I ingest gluten, this couldn?t jVe been something else. Shame on Middleton!
Dietary restrictions: Horrible experience! I got glutened and I barely made it home safely. I was by myself and I had to drive home, while throwing up non stop and being extremely sick.

We recently visited *Steak House Peterborough* during our stay and were very impressed by the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The service was attentive and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit.
Unfortunately, the dining experience did not quite meet our expectations. While the food was well-prepared, the portion sizes were much smaller than anticipated, especially considering the price. I ordered the grilled sea bass with potatoes and steamed broccoli, but the portion of potatoes was so small it barely covered the bottom of the dish. My boyfriend ordered the mixed grill, which consisted of a very small piece of gammon, a modest rib-eye steak, and a small portion of lamb. Despite the quality, the portions left us still hungry.
Given the limited portion sizes, we found ourselves needing to order takeaway afterward, as the meal simply wasn?t enough to satisfy. For a steakhouse, we expected more substantial portions that offered better value for the cost. We've included photos to illustrate our experience.
In conclusion, while the staff and service at *Steak House Peterborough* were excellent, the portion sizes and value left us disappointed.

I had the mixed grill it was nice, staff took a little while to come over even though it was very quiet.
Menu is rather confusing considering for 2 meals and 2 drinks was over 70£ you?d expect the menu to be a little better than apiece of paper.

Had the steak frites. Very delicious and sirloin cooked perfectly. Frites were super crispy and delicious. Came with a fresh, tasty side salad. Service friendly and fast. Would visit again.

Used to love this place but the food has declined in the last 6 months. Chewy steak, cold macaroni and service staff shouting like banshees from the kitchen. It's a Monday night so it's not even busy. Not very pleasant and won't be returning. I did tell the waiter that the food wasn't really nice but he didn't seem that interested. £90 for a really rubbish evening and substandard food.

The staff were absolutely amazing so welcoming, polite and kind. Amazing service and brilliant atmosphere. Even with a busy night and my party of 18. they even got a candle, put it on a dessert and sang happy birthday to my father

Me and my fiance went for a meal to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We had a very nice meal. The food was excellent and the service was great. Would recommend.

My partner and I came here on a Friday night, and were welcomed with polite, professional staff. The service and the food was 10/10, we felt that nothing was too much of an ask, and that we will recommend this place to family and friends. I think you get what you pay for, well worth the prices on the menu and that the chef will cook your food just as you ask for, no question asked. Thankyou to all the staff for making us feel welcome! ??????????

For a place that's meant to be 'THE PLACE FOR STEAK' felt rushed to order. Waited 30 minutes for our food and when it came it was cold.
The steak wasn't great. We went to Argo Lounge next door a few weeks prior and their stake was so much better and cheaper.
The chips had hard unmelted cheese squares on top.
Really wasn't impressed when we got the bill and a surcharge was on the receipt. Would have been nice to have been asked first. It's very awkward asking them to take it off, so paid it anyway.
Toilets were a mess with broken taps.
Also £11 for 3 scallops the size of 50p coins...
Staff were nice.
