Absolutely useless. My mortgage was passed on to another bank. I didn't find out until I was called by the other bank! About a mortgage I had no idea had moved to the other bank! I tried to contact Metrobank about this to confirm what had happened and was completely ignored passing my complaint onto the new bank! If you go with Metrobank you better hope you don't need to contact them!

Shocking service. Used to be welcoming and helpful. I needed to change the surname on my account, man at the desk eye rolled and asked me to wait. I had my newborn with me and waited 20 mins still no one came to assist. Ended up walking out and going to Yorkshire building society around the corner. Opened a new account in less than the 20 mins I sat waiting in metro. Will be closing my account with metro and switching everything to ybs.

I have payment issue with my business account for last two weeks. Payment not been credited on time. I keep calling customer service & walking to the bank several times. But they still not sorted out!!

Went in to close a business account on the 20th. Was told the remaining balance had been transferred to my personal account. But that the manager would need to sign to confirm closure of account, but that he was out the branch. I was told it would be dealt with when he was back and to save me waiting around I could just leave.Today I was charged again for the account putting it into overdraft. The account wasn?t closed and neither had the remaining balance been transferred!!!When I first started using Metro it was fantastic, but sadly seems to of gone downhill rapidly. Such a shame. Have taken my accounts elsewhere.

Wasted my time today. Didn't answer the phone so had to go in to open an account. Had to go back at 3pm but that's fine. Sat down to do open account and said had to do more checks on me and would call me. I cancelled it, went in to tsb and passed the checks, account opened very satisfied. Also on way out the manger was sniggering about us. Very poor service. My dad has ccjs and got an account no issues. I haven't got any ccj or missed payments. Very bizarre way to do business.

When it initially opened, the service was first-rate. I have noticed a decline in customer service since after the pandemic. Never had to wait, and the personnel was always welcoming. These days you need to look around hoping that someone has noticed you. Having said that, I'm glad it opened when all the banks were closed. That is the only reason I use their service.
