I visited the store yesterday , Friday, I had bought some clothes in the Meadows store in Camberley, when I returned home to Kings Lynn Norfolk I found that I had vouchers waiting for me with 20 per cent off, as the clothes I bought came to £100 I thought I would take them back and see if I could return them and re buy them with the discount vouchers, went to the refunds counter started to explain to the lady what I wanted to do before I'd even finished speaking she said NO can't do that, I said what refund then re........... NO, I laughed I'm afraid she was so arsy, she said I can only do a refund, OK then I will refund them, which she did and put the clothes on hangers behind her so I then had to trawl the store to find the exact clothes and re buy them with my voucher saving me 25£, thank you miserable lady on the refund store in Peterborough on Friday morning, jobs worth or what!!!!!

All my experiences with the M&S on Bridge Street has been fine. I especially like the lady who does the samples at the satellite food store in Queensgate who is so enthusiastic and friendly. However, I have had negative experiences with a member of staff at their store in Queensgate. There is a lady called Sam who works at the Ordering/Collection desk who has been utterly useless. When I asked about ordering a turkey for Thanksgiving a few weeks ago, she looked at me blankly and said that the only turkeys available to order were for Christmas. I mentioned that I had seen it online. She went on to say that there were frozen turkeys and will be fresh ones in the store in a haughty tone like I was the clueless one and she didn't have the time of day for me, a customer. I mentioned again that I had seen it online and she just handed me a catalogue and gave me a look that said I should be on my way. So I went home and ordered a turkey online. When I went to pick it up today. I handed Sam's colleague a printed copy of my purchase online and they could not determine what was purchased... was it a cake? I had to tell them it was a turkey. AGAIN, Sam told me that they didn't do turkeys this time of year, she said with a huff and rolled her eyes. Well, I said plainly, I have ordered one online. Her colleague finally brought one out from the back. I was very disappointed at this lady's attitude and ignorance. I will be writing a formal complaint to the store itself. Nobody with that attitude should be working in a store, let alone M&S! I have to say that I have always had pleasant experiences with M&S everywhere, as one would expect from its name except for this awful interaction.

The branch of Marks & Spencer on Bridge Street in Peterborough is bigger than its sister branch in the main shopping centre and sells mens and womens clothing mainly. There is also a bureau de change which I always use when in need of foreign currency as they do most changes on the spot and have good rates as well as being commission free. Some of the clothing is slightly old for my liking but there are often some really nice items that are not too badly priced and they are always good quality. The underwear department is brilliant and they also offer a free bra fitting service. The staff here are very helpful and there are good toilet facilities.

Have never liekd this shop, found it to be horribly laid. It looks dated and old and really needs a rework.

Peterboroughs Bridge Street Branch of Marks and Spencer sells aforemost menswear and womenswear. It is a good sized store situated over two floors with lift and escalator facility. Personally I like the ladies Per Una range which costs a little more but is a little dressier. I used to think that Marks and Spencer was just for my nan but Im a frequent shopper these days especially for work wear and bra measuring!! In addition to this there are excellent toilet facilities on the first floor which bizarely are really hot just as their toilets are in the Queensgate branch ? Customer services upstairs for returns etc is always well manned and really helpful. There is also foreign exchange facility upstairs which I have also used and found them to offer competitive rates! The staff are helpful and can always offer advise and I like the fact that if they dont have your size in they will always endevour to get it in and phone you once it has arrived. Excellent customer relations as you would expect from this name.

This is our other Marks and Spencer store. This sells ladies and menswear. The other store in Queensgate sells food and kid swear. There are toilet facilities. The store is a good size and well laid out.
