The Marks & Spencer Café is a delightful spot that never disappoints. Every visit feels like a treat, whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely lunch. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for catching up with friends or taking a well-deserved break from shopping.
The menu offers a wonderful variety of options, from freshly made sandwiches and salads to indulgent cakes and pastries. Everything is prepared with the same high quality you?d expect from Marks & Spencer. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are always spot-on. I particularly love their afternoon tea selection?it's a real indulgence with perfectly brewed tea and delicious scones.
The coffee and tea are excellent, and it's clear that the staff take pride in what they serve. Speaking of the staff, they are always friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your visit. Even during busy times, service remains quick and efficient.
Overall, the Marks & Spencer Café is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal or a snack. It?s one of my favorite spots to unwind, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Waited 40 minutes for simple food and then had my sandwich arrive sloppy with spicy red pepper sauce- after asking what came on it and being told it was served with sauces on the side. It was inedible. The potato was a mess, the ?ciabatta fingers? were a breadstick sliced in half.This isn?t the staff?s fault. It?s an M&S training and staffing problem. Do better, M&S.

Unfortunately, it was not a delight this time visiting.I ordered 2 portions of chips with to hot drinks the chips were priced at £2.50 a portion, what we received was quarter of a bowl of chips each absolutely shocking. I complained and did receive a refund for one portion, staff were happy to help and friendly but the food was shocking.For your info m&S I have provided a bowl of chips you provide in your restaurant to a bowl I cooked at home at a fraction of the price.

Arriving for some lunch at The M&S Cafe in Brotherhood Peterborough with my husband and the queue once again is out the door. All Staff on slow mode again. Overhearing then a staff member the lady with the Red short hair to say to Customers in line waiting ?We are running out of food?and to the young girl on the till. Errr not very professional that is it. Umm this is a Cafe is it not? Running out of food at 1.30pm? Lunch time! The mind beggars to belief. After standing in the queue for quite some time and customers now at this point are astounded to witness that the staff members, and at this point there are 3 behind the counter no one is serving. The young lady then walks off the others one with short red hair the other an older lady with a scrunchy in her hair just stand there talking totally ignoring the queue and Customers. HELLO!!!Then they too decided to walk off after the young girl returns to the counter. The customers at this point are fuming some walking out. Not being seen too or greeted on arrivalWHATS GOING ON? Where is the manager in all this. No sense of Customer service. No tables were being cleared but staff everywhere to be seen. All to busy doing absolutely nothing!!! And that at lunch time.Overhearing Customers that was already seated and waiting for their food discussing the dysfunctional Cafe and Staff.My husband returned to the counter for some extra milk for our tea asking politely only, for the lady with the short red hair to make a huffing breathing sound at him like it?s to much trouble serving him again for then my husband to say to her ?Have I upset you asking for extra milk?.What on Earth is up with the Staff at this Cafe. Rude no work ethics no manners and can not be bothered with Customers let alone do their job. Just want to say if the job is too much and you don?t like serving Customers then maybe you?re in the wrong job and time for a change.We can?t fault the food as always it?s tasty and pleasant to eat. So thumbs up for the Chefs but the Staff on the floor are appalling.

Sour dough toast is rubbish for toddlers much too hard why they changed from the lovely toast they did no idea. No more breakfast in M&S for our family.Parking: Good all round

Very disappointing. No fries, no jacket potato. The tables hadn?t been cleared so we had to clear one to sit down. When my toastie arrived it was soggy and greasy.

It?s a dump / many of the free tables were covered with dirty plates and cups from the previous occupants?? it?s like an upmarket expensive truckers cafe. Will not be returning. It?s not rocket science to employ people to clean the tables for the local middle classes

I absolutely loved this café, the area was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and approachable, the service time was good considering we were there at lunchtime (12.30ish) and most importantly the food was so delicious! The menu has a good selection of snacks and meals both hot and cold and a large selection of drinks. Although it was busy the seating layout made it possible to have a conversation without feeling that you were struggling to be heard. The food is reasonably priced as the quality is exceptional, just what you would expect from M&S. I would definitely recommend this café and I will be returning ?.

Sandwiches purchased were lovely. My issue (as always with M&S Cafes) is the lack of clear tables and cleaning. Out of many tables probably only one or two were free from previous cups and plates. Why not direct people to take their trays/crockery to a stacking area?

Friendly but professional welcome by Sarah this morning when we entered the Brotherhood store. She was doing an excellent job, keeping shoppers safe but making you feel welcome.
