Ideal for an affordable pub meal
The best by far is the service, Supriya is wonderful and so smiley, something we don?t experience often when we are out for dinner, she?s fab and hope to see her next time we visit.

I've eaten here plenty of times before and have rarely been dissapointed.. But my goodness, the fish I had here yesterday was dry and overcooked.. I would not suggest having that.. We hope that this is not the start of the food quality lowering across the menu..

My heart sank when a friend suggested eating here. I?d not visited for over 20 years but the classic plastic pub experience hadn?t changed. I had zero expectations about it and it delivered zero value. Sticky menus, sticky surfaces, knackered chairs, exhaustive menu of deep fried, vac packed meals. The food came out in record time, the microwave?s are powerful, my bun was genuinely inedible, warmed in a microwave into a solid chunk of combined fats and flour that give it a decade long shelf life before being nuked. One miserable piece of lettuce, the burger flavourless and tiny. Chips were ok but it?s hard to go wrong when deep frying potatoes, likewise the uniform onion rings were passable. I tried an alcohol free Old speckled hen, no reflection on the pub itself but an enormous miss from Greene King. It came in a large bottle, I wasn?t asked if I?d like a glass just expected to sup away from a pint bottle like I?m 16 again down the park. I asked for a glass and got a lovely Coca Cola branded one. This is definitely not an off day this is the business model.

This place is great value for money. They had missed a few bits off our meals, but fixed it right without fuss. Great welcoming staff. The sharing platters are a winner!!

Absolutely fantastic service from the amazing team at The Harrier! Kazz, Tam, and Abbie went above and beyond to make our visit so enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. Kazz was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, Tam was quick with the drinks and full of great banter, and Abbie was just lovely?super welcoming and efficient.
It?s rare to find a team that works so well together and genuinely cares about the customer experience. The Harrier is lucky to have them! We?ll definitely be back soon?thanks Kazz, Tam & Abbie!
