Yeah, good luck. That?s the message you get when looking at the general Go Outdoors website. So, you try calling the store - and they don?t pick up.
It?s 2025. Why I can?t check the store stock online is beyond me. I?ve worked in supply chain and e-commerce and the functionalities are there for just about every inventory system globally. Apparently, this is not available for this particular company.
It?s not wonder some businesses go bust. I?ll shop at a competitor if it means the only way I can check inventory is driving an hour round trip to find out if they have something or not.

I had a fantastic experience at the Go Outdoors store in Peterborough, all thanks to Sue Gordon. As someone completely new to hiking, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choices?but Sue took the time to walk me through everything.
She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping me understand the differences between hiking boots and trail trainers, and ensuring I got the right fit and comfort. She even went the extra mile to explain the importance of proper hiking socks?something I hadn?t even considered!
I?ve genuinely never experienced such great customer service before. Sue made the whole process easy and enjoyable, and I left the store feeling confident and well-prepared for my outdoor adventures. Her friendly and professional approach made a big difference, and I can't thank her enough. Highly recommend seeking her out if you need help!

Went there to get my first pair of hiking boots on a busy Sunday afternoon. The store was busy, staff obviously had a lot on, but they still took the time to recommend and help me try on 6 or so pairs of shoes to make sure they fit perfectly. Offered for me to wear them around the house and take them back if necessary. Just finished a hike in them and they were perfect. Special shout-out to Sue Gordon and her endless patience!

Went in for some hiking shoes, decent range of shoes. Alex deserves all the praise for their patience in me selecting a pair. Bringing each pair down with a smile and still helping other customers. Felt like I spent hours there and the service did not let up one bit. Amazing job and friendly!

Big store with plenty of choice, excellent selection of brands for your budget. It felt a little short staffed as there was a wait on the till, in the whole though an excellent shop.
