“We ordered fabric swatches before oredering our New York futon. Excellent communication on the phone and very short lead times. We asked if pick up was available and they gave me a slight discount ( beware, you will need an estate or similar and one box is quite heavy) Easy to assemble with clear drawings, very impressed with biuld quality of frame a fabric. would recomend you opt for the thicker mattress.”

“In November 2022 I purchased a Sofology recliner chair from House Goods 4U . I am in my 70’s and have painful problems with my back shoulders and neck.The chair has been a tremendous help to me as I can get myself completely comfortable. I was mortified when I burnt out the control panel by spilling a glass of water over it.Today I went into House Goods 4U hoping they may be able to help. I was amazed and delighted with the service given.The owner spent a good half an hour showing me how to bypass the control panel with a handset control.He supplied me with two handsets to make sure I had the right one. He even offered to fit it himself if I had a problem.When I got home I fitted the handset following his instructions and it worked perfectly.My chair is now fully functional. Expecting to pay for this first class service I was again amazed when he said no charge.This is GOLD star customer service way above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect.Thank you so much.....Anne.”

“Furniture and electronics are the main items sold at this Heart Foundation charity store. Should you require their services, they do deliver for a charge. It is average in terms of price. Their stock is derived from donations. This is the charity to think about if you want to get rid of your old furniture. They only take in items in good and nearly new condition.”

“We used to use a different DIY store, they didn't have what we wanted so tried Wickes. Oh my God the difference was out of this world. Wider aisles, .ych better staff, very helpful. I have to mention Stephen, he helped us choose the best pressure washer, oh my God it was amazing. A job that took all day last time was done in couple of hours.
Stephen seems to always be there and he is so approachable and friendly, not to mention knowledgeable (as are other staff but I have dealt with Stephen a few times). We won't be going back to old DIY store now we tried wickes.”

“We made the journey to DFS Peterborough today to view a sofa that they did not have in our local store. The difference in the welcome from our local store was so much more pleasant! No pressure from the staff or hassling you every 5 minutes unlike our local. They actually allowed you to look around in your own time. When we made our choice of sofa (which was the one we went to look at) A very polite chap called Niall come to assist us with the purchase. Before anything took place he offered and made us drinks and gave his honest opinion on the sofa. His sales method was brilliant there was no pressure to purchase any extra covers etc. His explanation of the full process was clear honest and precise. I have been purchasing sofas from DFS for over 17 years and this is by far the easiest transaction Iv ever made with the company after so real awful experiences with certain staff from the Cambridge (this branch I would NOT recommend) branch.
