Was there on a course friendly enough staff place could do with an upgrade and the car park could do with a clear out to fit more cars in an extension on the back a little could do to make the toilet facilities a bit bigger but very close to townFood & drinks: Breakfast is good

My wife and I stayed here this wkend. Very reasonably priced..First class breakfast provided. Central location in village. Friendly atmosphere....historic building and they have a festival called follow the straw bear...annually very popular for locals & tourists.We had a lovely stay and we wish the falcon Inn all the very best for 2024.?????

A hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and great location. The bed was very comfortable and if the rooms only had a fridge and wifi I would be back on a regular basis.

Went for food on Monday night .greeted by a very friendly barman . Big guy running around everywhere. Gives great customer service . Ordered ham and mustard sandwich , ham was very nice confused as to why the mustard came in a pot rather than in the sandwich though. Also had some Bailey's cheesecake very very nice vanilla tasting cheesecake (didn't taste the Bailey's at all ) I'd come back for the drinks and service for sure !!Food & drinks: Drinks selection fantastic. Food average at best .

We were recommended the Falcon for good food, we were the only people in the pub. My partner had ham, egg and chips, his only criticism not enough chips for the money. I had squash and beetroot wellington, on the menu it said new potatoes and broccoli. It came with hard frozen peas and mash. Pastry base was a bit hard in places but filling was tasty, I?m not really a fan of mash, it was a funny yellow colour not white and fluffy, for me it would have been better if there was cheese in it. I have no idea why I didn?t get new potatoes and broccoli. I should have said something, but I was too stressed out ? and remained polite. I wouldn?t go back and wouldn?t recommend the food ?
