“The head office management recently decided to reduce the appointment time allowed. However this seems to be inappropriate as I was 15 mins late for the pre exam tests and 35 mins late for the opticians exam. The optician apologised for the wait and was very thorough and professional throughout. It does not seem that the appointment time allowed is enough to cover all requirements and needs re-thinking.”

“Asked for emergency appointment due to an infection. Given an appointment within an hour and a half. Arrived ten minutes early, optician called me in straight away. I was seen eight minutes before my appointment time. I explained the issues I had had and explained that Watford hospital had asked to see me again, but I live near Peterborough, and PCH said I needed a referral. Optician gave me referral immediately, wrote a letter and even sent an email as I waited. He then inspected the eye to be certain I was ok. He proceeded to explain he would not charge, as I am on a contact lens subscription. I couldn’t believe it. What fantastic service by Muhammad Daniyaal Ahmed - thank you!”
