This was my first appointment at this salon but unfortunately didn't stay long enough to get my hair done. The lady who was going to do my hair said she couldn't braid my hair because I had moisturised my hair with shear butter before my appointment, which, according to her I should have known when i booked the appointment because they use gel when braiding. She told me she could wash my hair and braid cornrolls as this is what the time would allow, (which is not what I wanted or booked for) and also I had a longer braiding extensions so it would cost more than the initial price given( which I said I was happy to pay the difference). She told me that if I didn't want the corn rolls then I could rearrange my appointment or cancel all together and since it was my first time she would refund my money back if I decided to cancel so I told her to cancel and refund me my £30 ( which I am yet to receive)I could have rearranged my appointment, but the way she spoke to me was so unprofessional that I didn't want to have my hair done by her. In all my years of braiding my hair, I have never been spoken to in a condescending way before.I wouldn't be going there or recommend the salon to any of my family and friends.

I've had a really bad experience here, it's a salon so you don't know who you're gonna get to do your hair. A couple of hairdressers here are amazing and talented but some are just not it. And their customer service is really appalling which is so sad, they really don't care about how their customers are treated all they want is to take your money and they will find any reason to put extra charges on your bill. I went to get my hair done and a lady who is not black and doesn't have 4c/Afro type hair started doing my hair. She spent an hour and a few more minutes blow drying my hair only, she started cornrowing my hair and it was so bad , she was pulling my hair so much , and the line was crooked, I had to ask her to remove the cornrow and left the salon without getting my hair done . I told the salon owner about this and all I got was her being defensive.she said it's because my hair was short , bare in mind it's not that short I've had my Afro for 3yrs now. And she never apologised at all for the experience I had. Unfortunately I'm never going back to this salon, but if you do decide to go just make sure that someone who knows about 4c hair and has 4c hair is doing your hair. I would not recommend this place, rather find aunties that will do your hair.

I booked my appointment for 2pm & instead of starting on time, the hairstylist sat and ate for 30 minutes. when I asked why are clients charged a late fee for being 30 minutes late but they start late all the time, the staff started yelling about how their customers are unfair?Services: Braids

I am usually satisfied when I visit this salon. The previous times I visited Vanessa (the owner) and another woman named Joana did my braids which turned out beautiful. During my recent visit a woman named Rute did my hair for the first time and I am very disappointed.These are NOT knotless braids.I hate my hair and will be taking it down just after having it in for 2 days. A total waste of my money. I had to ask her multiple times to redo the braids as they weren?t neat, my hair was sticking out of most of the braids, I even instructed her on how to tidy up my braids and edges. I could have done a better job for free at home. Not happy at all and probably won?t be returning since there?s no guarantee that I will be put with a stylist that I prefer.Service: Braids
