We made the journey to DFS Peterborough today to view a sofa that they did not have in our local store. The difference in the welcome from our local store was so much more pleasant! No pressure from the staff or hassling you every 5 minutes unlike our local. They actually allowed you to look around in your own time. When we made our choice of sofa (which was the one we went to look at) A very polite chap called Niall come to assist us with the purchase. Before anything took place he offered and made us drinks and gave his honest opinion on the sofa. His sales method was brilliant there was no pressure to purchase any extra covers etc. His explanation of the full process was clear honest and precise. I have been purchasing sofas from DFS for over 17 years and this is by far the easiest transaction Iv ever made with the company after so real awful experiences with certain staff from the Cambridge (this branch I would NOT recommend) branch. Thank you ?

Bought a leather sofa over two years ago ? it arrived damaged with deep scratches. DFS sent someone out who said it was repairable, but it?s been over two years of repeated visits with the wrong parts, no proper updates, and the same technician denying he?d been before (even though my Ring doorbell shows otherwise). Now they want to take the sofa away with no timeline and no courtesy replacement. Terrible customer service, extremely frustrating experience. Would not recommend.

Went to look at/sit in a riser/recliner chair I was interested in, the design was useless. My feet did not touch the floor and the seat depth was so deep there was no support for my back. They obviously don't design them for people who need support. You would have thought they would think who they are designing for!!!! (People who cannot get up).
The staff were lovely, not their fault.

Wanted a new sofa so tried several different places then ended up here at DFS glad we did the sofa we were looking at was too big for our house. so the assistant Jana explained we could have different options. So we went home and had a remeasure. Went back and explained to Jana what we had decided and she worked out a price. She explained to us about all the extras we could have. No matter how many questions we asked she was very happy to answer. A new sofa will arrive in about 11 weeks. Very happy so far will review again once we have the sofa.

Useless company, horrible products. Their product don't last at all. It spoils in less than 2 years and they claim wear and tear.

Poor treatment towards the costumers. They don?t care about the sentiments of the customers, very rude manager in Peterborough branch. I will never purchase anything from dfs again.
We lost 20% of our money even when we were willing to get an exchange for the sofa that was not even manufactured by the warehouse.
I have spoken to all my colleagues about this attitude of this branch and their rudeness.

Most horrible service ever, had ordered, asked for a change of product before delivery (delivery date is 11th March we asked for change of order on 18th) . We even guaranteed that we will buy another product for equivalent value. Their manager was insisting that we had to pay 20% of the total value for cancelling the order. This is ridiculous when their supplier hadn't even started working.
The manager will not be liking this review and contest it.
Absolutely not recommending them especially with their current manager who has 0 respect for their customer or request.

Very friendly members of staff, and the good thing was they didn't pounce on you when you walked through the door. I was lucky to have a young man Liam assisting me, very polite, helpful and professional. The only downside to my purchase was they charge £120 for delivery, for the amount of money you spend it should be a lot cheaper or free. I had a double bed delivered from argos and they only charge £6.95, so DFS you need to stop being greedy and change the delivery charge.

Very bad experience bought San Antonia corner +3 +2 have had them out as soon as they were delivered and was fobbed off and again had them out and was told wear and tare , when you recline you can hear metal touching metal and was told that?s normal ,
UNDER CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015 , these sofas are poor quality and not fit for purpose , I am vontacting my credit card company as deposit was paid with a credit card to get a full refund , please never trust there guarantee its not worth the paper it?s written on .

Poor quality products. Sold insurance with animal damage but claim rejected then when cancelled insurance told we were covered but had gone elsewhere by then. Poor leather and poor manufacturing too.
