A lovely spacious Costa with outside, inside ground and inside first floor seating. The first floor is access by steps only. We called in on a lunchtime, there were plenty of spare tables but very few were clean or clear of trays.
The young waitress who cleared our table took away the tray but failed to even attempt to wipe the table. We had two of their flavoured Frappes, they tasted good.
The toilets were shocking, one door constantly locked and I was told to use the disabled. Inside there was a missing toilet seat and the emergency unit which should be screwed to the wall was sellotaped.
On leaving the toilet a lady went to enter, I advised her of the missing toilet seat and she replied ?still, it?s been like that for weeks?.

I always love to pick up a coffee before I do my shop and the staff here are simply the best. Especially Lauren and Libby. They are always welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They are a delight.

don?t come here often but came on a bank holiday Monday. There were not enough staff to serve the queue of customers. Only 2 members..I was waiting 20 minutes for my drink. The girl behind the counter starts making a large Uber eats drink order....I ordered a peach ice tea, and I couldn?t taste any peach so my mum asks for some more syrup and the lady says ?it?s already had 4 pumps and if you want more it?ll be 50p? it definitely has LESS than 4 pumps in as I watched the man make it. And my mum says ?my daughter had been waiting 20 mins already? and the lady just says ?bless you?Poor service and I went to Starbucks and ordered the same drink and it was much BETTER and I got better service there and better tasting drinkI don?t understand why the manager wouldn?t schedule more people to work on a bank holiday..even if it?s not massively busy, retail can be unpredictable but it?s best to have more people rather than less people.

Sandys energy is infectious! Absolutely fantastic, a true pleasure to be near. If you're having a bad day like I was, Sandys singing will surely put a smile on your face. Really refreshing to see someone who enjoys their job and clearly does it well. My favourite Costa location will be wherever he is, true asset to the company.

This is one shop that shuts before the time advertised... its absolutely appalling.. Greg's keep to their open and close times not this shop .. They are close 5 minutes beofre 7pm but it advertised 7pm close time ... that 5minutes could have made money off a few customers they're quickly cleaning the shop and customer can't be reassure of their timea joke shop

Not very pushchair friendly, there was then no seats downstairs available and no lift. Ended up going to Marks & Spencer?s cafe instead

Great staff, good coffee and iced tea. Nice atmosphere and clean and pleasant place to be now it has been decorated.
