I did a shop today and found that the offers 'when you scan your membership card' didn't come off. I mentioned this to the assistant. He looked at my membership card before announcing, 'That's the blue Co-op. You need the card with the honeycomb pattern', and pointed to an example above his head. That's weird, because there's a blue Co-op lorry making a delivery around the back right now and you haven't told him to come back in the right coloured lorry. Anyway, I asked if I could have a honeycomb card. 'There are no cards,' he told me. Right, so I need a card but there are no cards. 'You need to install the app,' he said. Do you think everyone has space on their phones to have an app installed for every store they shop in? I guess you think you're increasing loyalty, but you are not. I left all my shopping and went to Aldi where everything was the lower price without a card or app.

Excellent local shop for the residents as bus services are limited, visited for 5 day's as shopped daily whilst on my visit.Staff seemed cautious but very friendly on approach, lovely little local & keep up to good work

If I can help it, I don't shop here. I feel bad for individuals who couldn't travel out of the srea and had to purchase from them. The price is so expensive and not mcuh choice.

I have ordered shopping delivery from this Coop several times. Every time, they have got the order wrong or haven't sent items I have paid for. I phoned to say I was 2 packs of bacon missing. The employee said I was to phone just eat to get a refund! I didn't want a refund. I wanted my two packs of bacon. At other times, bread is missing. Their customer service is shocking. I asked if I could have my bacon, she said there's no one here to bring it.....Then why advertise delivery. It was a general don't care attitude. They need training.

Its obvious this place has serious issues at the core of its business. It seems like this shop is run mainly by young women who love a gossip and desperately need more customer service training, just a smile will take a lot of effort. Staff wont ask for your coop membership card, many times iv spent ridiculous amounts more than necessary when i could have scanned my card. Huge amounts of stock reduced because of the high prices. Recently been in the paper for selling alcohol to under age people and will now literally follow people round the store while they discuss through their headsets whats in your basket. Very badly run and needs a fresh batch of staff and management.
