“Fantastic service in Halfords Peterborough Mallory road. Went in with a crank arm off my lads bike and they managed to get it back on without me having to come back. Huge thanks to Tommy and Joseph who served us today.”

“I popped in to collect a parcel yesterday, a busy Saturday afternoon. The staff member manning the click and collect was outstanding. So personable and friendly. I am super impressed. The store was tidy and had a great selection of items.”

“I walked to see Mel smiling at me. I asked her to help me pick out a perfume, and she gave me her time and assisted me in finding the perfume I liked. Many thanks to her.”

“Buying a gas braai can be confusing.Buying a gas braai can be seriously confusing, if you have never had one, different Gas, and so many choices of braai to choose from. But Matt was brilliant, very patient and could not be more helpful if he tried.Good service and what he didn't know he found out. Then down to part with many many of my pennies, and Julia on the till was really nice, and even offered the various ways I can save being part of one of their partners. So after spending over £300 just for a Braai, I actually came away feeling very happy.Nice job guys. One negative thing was that you did not have a decent range of non stick braai utensils, like tongs or spatulas. Had to source these elsewhere.”

“Received the best customer service today in store , the management team were going above and beyond for my wife who’s very body conscious after having a baby. She’s walked out feeling like a new woman with her new dress bag and shoes for her event next Saturday. Thankyou Ellie and Ursula and the rest of the girls who gave comments you made my wife feel amazing.”

“I don’t know the name of the lovely sales assistant that helped me today (they had long dark hair) but they were working at 11:40 on 7/7 and they were so helpful. I wish I’d caught their name to give them some feedback. They answered all my questions and were just generally a pleasure to meet. Really happy with my purchase. I got some jeans and the quality is amazing, only I now want them in more colours!”

“Can't praise them enough, other stores can take notes on how to do it.\\nSmile and mean it, engage with customers. Wonderful presentation, wonderful products, wonderful staff. And I got some slippers in the sale ??”

“This is a good sized store with a large range of goods for inside and outside the home. There is also a range of clothing upstairs. Checkout is normally terrible here. There are a maximum of five tills for a rather large store. One of these tills doubles as customer services and click and collect and one till is usually unmanned. In effect there are only three tills. Queues build very quickly and there are regularly 50-60 customers queuing to be served and this is on a midweek morning. On my last visit i was queuing for 15 minutes to buy one item. Asda really need to look at enlarging and improving the checkout experience.”

“The best store for plus size fashion in Peterborough with the best staff! They are always so helpful and always willing to go above and beyond for every customer. Nothing is ever to much for them. From a company that started in Peterborough and has now grown to be one of the biggest names in UK fashion is simply outstanding. There range of clothes both online and in store is amazing and they have a range that will flatter any figure.”

“Wish this shop was more local to me, I took the opportunity of a rare child free shopping spree to queensgate and this was the first shop I came to upon entering. The window displays drew me in, very girly and glitzy - there are 2 changing rooms in store as well which is always a bonus as body shapes constantly change. I found some of the fittings of clothes to be on the smaller side rather than true to size , but I came away with a few nice items including sale items and some really lovely boots which the shop assistant was happy to look out the back for me to see if my size was available. I will definitely return when in the area again :)”

“Just found my wedding dress in here! The lady in there (I believe the manager) was so helpful and kind, made me feel very comfortable and I found the perfect dress within the hour for a madly good price. Couldn’t be happier. They also have a huge range of great vintage clothes at good prices, most of my summer dresses are from there. You pay a little more due to the vintage aspect compared to a standard charity shop, but the quality and service is so worth an extra quid or two. Also great for gift ideas.”

“We went to have breakfast with Santa. The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous. All the staff were so helpful and organised. Santa even gave our granddaughter a gust pump. The present was ideal. Would certainly recommend to others. Thank you to everyone I y.”

“Although I am aware of the inflation we are witnessing, I did not expect to see it reflected in charity shops. I am not sure why this is the case. The majority of the staff members are volunteers, and the products are donated. I believe that if the items are not overpriced, they will sell more quickly. A speedier turnaround means more money coming in.”

“My son was lookjng for t shirts he has an eclectic taste amd likes vibrant designs on the backs of them. The guy that was in the store working today was wearing a t shirt my son happened to like we asked the guy if it was from.the store he said yes. We asked if it was still available to buy as we could not see it on the shop floor. He went to find a scanner to see if they had any left. They had 1 left which was my sons size. Great customer service and very helpful in store. Apologies though as we didnt get the guys name.”

“I would like to thank Miriam today. I visited the store for an exchange of a faulty product. She was polite and attentive and talked through the key features and benefits of a replacement product. I was able to quickly make a decision on a purchase (didn’t mind paying the extra £30, as she explained everything so well!) She also assisted me in carrying the heavy item to my boot. This type of service is rarely ever seen anymore. She really did go over and beyond. Thank you!”

“The saviour of the nations fashion... as not everyone can afford Next, Zara and H&M. Having a kid on the growth spur I rely on this shop to get fashionable, comfortable and reasonably priced clothes. 4 stars because of their design flaws - for example girls jeans for a 12 year old has same waist width like a 10 year old. Making jeans just longer but not adjusting the waist is really silly. Also I do sometimes get t-shirts from boys section as they're longer ...for some reason girls t-shirts get wider with age but not longer so it's another flaw in my opinion. And girls leggings - lets just leave those for them as they dont fit anyone. Primark should acknowledge that quite a large percentage of the kids are bit larger than the olden days and should stop making clothes for skinny kids only...reality is tough and unpleasant maybe but their marketing team is apparently sleeping. Even Adidas made a line of tracksuits for bigger kids so lost opportunity here...”

“I'm relieved that M&S is still operating in the city centre after several stores closed. Every time I visit the centre, I stop by M&S. I enjoy shopping there. Their foodl is well-presented and of high quality.”

“Bought some boots here and they were dead after 3 uses. Tights are also very expensive but very weak and cheaply made. Still 4 star though as i do like some of the clothes I've purchsed here”

“It's safe to say I absolutely adore their bath and body section, such a wide variety of items for less than at their own shops. Though just because its there doesn't mean I always want it.

Staff are polite, one woman tried to help me set up a store card but the website wasn't working, not her fault.

There are other items that are still a little expensive hence the 4 stars.

The layout is absolutely massive I had to get directions to the till.”

“Massive shout out to Hazel, upstairs. I couldn't find the size I wanted, in a coat, so she went to look for me. Came back with a couple of larger sizes, helped me try them on, and told me what looked good. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. And was as helpful as anyone could ask. Being disabled, this means a lot to me. And the coat I bought was only £18!! Bargain. Again, THANK YOU HAZEL, you're a star!!”

“First of all I would like to say that the staff couldn’t be more helpful. I love next and the cloths and have the app on my phone but I like to actually look and feel what I’m buying first . I am disabled and need to use a mobility aid for getting about . The way the shop is set out is not at all wheelchair friendly there are cloths rails packed in the shop so close together than it is impossible to move around the store. I was attacked by to of these rails (joke ) on Saturday but a member of staff helped me and was very apologetic and said it was there fault as o was so embarrassed. .also I had to get my son some shorts wich are on the upper floor . The good thing is there is a lift (thank goodness) the only thing is that whatever I want always seems to be were I can’t reach as like downstairs. The assistant was very helpful again but having to ask for assistance I find realy embarrassing. You can’t fault the quality of cloths and the helpfulness of the staff but access is terrible if like me you use a chair”
