Waited in line for 40 minutes to buy a couple of DVD's

Went in to buy some PS1/2 games, specifically at this store since they were in stock on the website for this store specifically, and after not being able to find them I asked a staff member who told me most of the boxes get nicked. Not very useful considering they?re still flagged as being in stock on the website but that?s fine. I bought some other games and was on my way. After checking my discs, I noticed one of them was for a different game than the one I purchased, so I went back into the store and it was replaced. You?d think everything would have been sorted then and there, but after returning home once again, the disc they had given me was so incredibly scratched it didnt read on my system.
CeX are normally so thorough with the games they take in, so I?m surprised that so many of the games I recieved had discs that were completely obliterated, not to mention the fact one of them entirely didn?t work. Multiple trips forward and back shouldn?t be the norm to get a functional product.

I?m not quite sure why the staff are so rude and uncommunicative. I went in and said hello to the chap serving me and he didn?t respond. I asked him for some assistance to which he gave a non verbal answer. Looking at other reviews this seems to be quite commonplace at this particular store.

Rude employee, not allowing more than one customer to look at one item. Pushing them away verbally. Disappointing and disrespectful.

Went to go sell a Nintendo switch the staff was so rude and unbothered seemed like they didn?t want to be there . Couldnt even look at me or say thanks or bye ,just so rude to be quite honest not a great experience .

bought a flip phone so sent my s24 to cex my phone was in perfect condition I'd been using it every day for my job originally they offered me a good price then emailed me to say the phone was non working which isn't true they said it was peeling from the back which it wasn't I have photos and a video to prove this along with serial numbers etc however they still decided to rip me off when I lodged a compliant no one had the decency to answer my questions.
they did offer to send the phone back but I didn't want to be fobbed off again by there silly games I would not use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. I have lodged a separate complaint to the complaints team and up to now now reply .

I enjoy purchasing my games, movies and devices here. There is a huge selection, unfortunately they did not have some games that I wanted to sometimes, but I cannot blame them for not being in stock. Otherwise, the movie selection is huge, they have a wide selection of games for every console that I collect, even obscure PC games, or older consoles. Thank you, CeX!

These shops are rip off places they would buy a dvd off of you for under 10p then resell it for sometimes up to £1.50 even if it re sold for £1.00. Not a bad mark up price of 90p profit. And the staff I find are not polite at all and the queue was dreadful 20 minutes and not a apology. And the biggest rip off with these shops is the postage you pay for each dvd you want so if I ordered 10 dvds the postage would be charged for each one what a con.
