Ordered and waited 20mins for the starter to arrive. Was rudely interrupted by a staff members relation and told by him that family come first. Mains came around 50mins later - all cold. Explained to the waitress how unsatisfied we were, was offered dessert but had no time to stay as we?d waited so long for our food.

all you can eat breakfast, 10£ for adults free for children. majority of the food was great, especially with how cheap it is, however acouple of the items weren't the best, scrambled eggs mainly. but for the price, it's definitely worth the visit ?

You're usual run of the mill pub producing extremely low quality food for the masses. One of those places where the chef's like to over cook the fish and make it crusty and hard, provide quite literally a tbs of mushy peas in the bottom of an oversized dipping bowl and throw a few frozen chips into an oven for 5 minutes.Play area is fine for kids but there's no maximum amount of people and it's incredibly loud behond belief. Get yourself over to a proper indoor play centre if it's kids entertainment you want. There really is nothing to see here other than the feeling of a blocked up stomach full of cheap junk food. Also, if a pub can't even provide a nice San Miguel then it definitely isn't worth it

We often come here in the evening for dinner .The food is always appetising to look at and the service is excellent. All staff seem friendly and willing to make our meal experience memorable. The food is not overpriced.Parking: Plenty space to parkKid-friendliness: Staff great with kidsWheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance easy to enter

Went for boxing day lunch, food was OK, but no cauliflower cheese and only roast potatoes, so less option than on a standard Sunday lunch day. This venue needs a refit and immediately needs a deep clean, particularly in the ladies, no idea about the men's.

Lucy was amazing opening the play area early for the childrenAs soon as we walked in and waited at the front desk lucy greated us! Just to know wed been noticed was a lovely feeling most restaurants neglect nowadaysKid-friendliness: Brilliant gluten free options for my daughter who usually struggles with eating out for breakfast . They noticed alot of children around and kindly opened the play area early for our very excited girls

I was disappointed with our visit on Saturday. Food mediocre, we ordered from the festival menu, that said the carvery on a sunday is very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Play area for small children is a plus, but overpriced, especially if you have more than 1 child.

The absolute worst Christmas Eve experience. We booked a table for four adults and three children at 10am and specifically requested a table in the play area for the three kids (two of toddler age and one who has severe Autism, so the soft play is perfect for him) and we arrived to be told they don?t have any tables in the play area and it it is shut until midday. No viable alternatives offered, so now we have three very emotional children and as we?d both travelled we have nowhere else to go.Never, ever again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had a roast and I can truthfully say that it was probably the worst meal I have ever had to pay for. The food was bland and I was missing several items, I wasn't even able to ask for these as there were no staff to be found. My family also were incredibly disapointed in their meals which includes mixed grills and burgers. I highly do not recommend coming here.

Lots of kids running around but not unusual and doesn't bother us but may others. Food a bit slow from order. Currently three ladies loos and two broken. Overall a happy experience.

Had haddock, chips & mushy peas. Haddock overcooked & not a great eat, most left. Told staff but they just said what did I want them to do about it & half heartedly offered a dessert. As my friends enjoyed their meals I left it but it wasn't satisfactory at all!!

We had a weekend booked at the Premiere Inn attached to the restaurant/bar.Myself and 4 friends ate and drank in the restaurant for the weekend and every meal was great, as it?s the Christmas season we opted for the seasonal menu where the prices were very reasonable for the food, all the dishes were well presented, good sized portions and very tasty. All the staff from the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We built a good rapport with them over the few days and thoroughly enjoyed their service. The team are a credit to the company and Lucy who I believe was managing the team was great. In all this weekend I reviewed was great and would be back again.

As you can see from the photos been sat here for over 40 minutes since ordering food, it?s so quiet, checked and only 4 tables where people are sat. Been waiting over 40 minutes now and only 2 of the kids have had their starters brought out. There is no service whatsoever, you order everything from the bar, food , if you try and catch a waiter walking past they look at you and carry on walking. The refill machine doesn?t work for drinks either so again you have to keep going up to the bar and queue to get a drink. Wouldn?t come back if I was paid to.

Me and my work colleagues are staying at the Premier Inn next door, eating here every night.Food is fine for the price. The problem we had was with the service, we booked a table to watch the football. It turned out they couldn't do that. That was fine but the way we was dealt with made us feel so small. The woman Kerrie just told us it is what it is and lef us to our own devices.Honestly it was out right rude and made us all feel uncomfortable.Disrespectful and unnecessary.
