5th February I visited.
This shop did not look very inviting, first impressions are Big tubs of £1 items is first thing you see, and the window display is not very appealing, but it does give you an idea of what you will find when you step inside. And once inside the shop, it is dark and dingy, the windows are blocked and no daylight coming through, the shop just looks and feels grubby. The layout is awful and again not appealing at all, clothes are hanging and dragging on the floor, dirty where people have stood on them, random items and toys strewn on shelves in no particular order, like no care and attention has been taken, prices are high for second hand items too. My partner looked at a top priced at £6, and it was dirty and smelled awful. We have seen better stuff at boot fairs and for less money. We also could hear members of staff loudly chatting to each other and some obscene language was heard too.
At least make a shop appealing if you want customers to spend hard earned money.
Needless to say we left the shop without purchasing any items and will not return or recommend it to people

Great cause and shop, just a shame some of the staff are so unpleasant to deal with when paying.

The rating is high which is well deserved. Going through charity stores is one of my favourite pastimes. This is among Peterborough's best charity shop in my opinion. A perk is plenty of free public parking spaces right outside the store. If there is a parking issue and it is a long walk, I probably wouldn't bother.Prices are fair, and occasionally I find really useful items that I've been hunting for. Usually, the employees and volunteers are quite helpful. I recommend a visit if you are love charity shops.

would never donate to this shop again.
the man was extremely rude, we donated loads - there were 3 of uw carrying stuff in and not even a thank you! customers/other donors were left waiting. one poor man had 2 massive ikea bags full of books and the man just gave him a look and said "oh my god." the poor donor went bright red.
absolutely disgusting..don't understand why some people do the jobs they do!
