Aldi is generally okay. Good for fresh veg. Aldi own brand quality is not that good, better stick with known brands.

Apart from literally no assistance and excessively long queues at the self service check outs and no staffed tills (when I visited) this stores in good. It has a pretty good variety of products in its fresh green grocery department, fresh meats and fine selection of products elsewhere. They may not be known brands, but seem just fine. But like I say, you need to have time and patience to shop here.

Went for about 4 items and came away with 2 bagfuls. Great prices and nice produce. Has interesting middle aisles.Have a self service till section which speeds up the paying at the end

Great now they have self check out. Just please trust us with carrier bags - its so demoralising asking someone for a bag.. what kind of world do we live in
