After cycling to this pub, we all had a good pint of real ale and the loaded fries kept our energy levels up as we then cycled to our next pub.

Went on a Sunday and arrived at 4:15. All online advertising and posters outside says the kitchen closed at 5:30. Ordered via the app from the table. Staff member approached us 30 mins after ordering saying kitchen closed at 4 and they only do Sunday roasts on Sunday. This wasn't advertised anywhere. Received a refund for food. However, when drinks still didn't arrive after a further 15 mins, requested a full refund. Need better communication, especially if you are posting on social media . Won't be back. Community centre bar is cheaper anyway.

Really slow bar service, any more than 5 customers and they seem not able to cope.

Amazing pub, amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere, you can really see the time and effort that has gone into the decor, I pass many local pubs to travel to this one, simply because it is fabulous, great selection of beers, wines, spirits, hot drinks and soft drinks!
