Superb pub in a beautiful part of county.
Stayed two nights, the rooms were modern and clean with some nice touches. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, it's well worth the wait as it's cooked fresh, no buffet here!
The Pub has a nice facilities such as a huge garden and patio area.
The beer was perfect. Nice to see the Sussex brewery Harvey's on draught here.
I would definitely stay again

I found the British queen such a beautiful place to stay, the room had everything you might need, it was clean and very comfortable to stay in. The food and service was amazing- the staff were faultless- you are missing out if you do not book. Do pre book Ubers, as takes awhile to get to that area - but that doesn?t take away from the beauty of the venue

Best pub in Meldreth. Sits on a huge plot with a marquee in the garden, so great for the kids. Always busy and the food is excellent value and quality. We tend to go with a large group and there is a fire pit if you want to sit outside. Always a good atmosphere.

Whilst the location is great, it was extremely cramped for sitting especially being given 2 seprate tables. Ordered Margherita pizza which arrived all burnt to crisp black bottom, it was indeed replaced by a serving staff, props to that. However the replacement wasn't any good in taste or feel either. We opted for individual payments for the pizza and I'm still not sure how a Margherita pizza cost me 14£ on it's own. However, the environment is beautiful and had free parking. Wouldn't unfortunately visit again though as not happy with the food.

Staff were very rude and told me and my friends to get out of the pub just because we didn?t have an adult even though we are 15 years old and can take care of ourselves and would never do anything to hurt anyone. And they kicked us out because we had a bag of food from the one stop and because we had no adult. Would not recommend.
