30 years going from Bury St Edmunds to Ely, Peterborough etc and never called in at March..
A lovely little town with history and nice pubs.. Certainly know what they're doing.. Titanic Plum Porter, I'm often in Staffordshire and their premium ale.
Girlfriend lives near Norwich so Wolf beers always on tap. The Wellington is a Wolf pub. Visited their brewery recently. Sly Wolf probably my favourite of all..
Then Timothy Taylor Landlord.. Champion Beer of Britain and multi award winning ale...
I'll be visiting again soon..

Great little.pub serving a good range if real ales. Camra approved and rated. More than happy to drop in for a cheeky pint. Barman highly knowledgeable about the pubs History.

This is a drinks only pub, no food served. Always friendly service and very cosy pub

No food served. Snacks only are available.The building is an ancient one serving drinks only. It's very small inside so can get very crowded at times. Some of the draught beers sell out very quickly.

Lovely pub benefitting from a fairly idyllic location by the canal. Nice selection of real ales including a local owl beer new to me.Friendly staff and customers, great relaxed ? atmosphere.

I've been in and out of this place since shortly before my wife and I had our wedding reception here a title over six years ago. Always a friendly reception and always well kept beer. The tables are clean, the khazi is fresh and the location is ideal. Thank you, a great pub and a great team.
