Wouldn?t even give one star if there was a choice of less! I booked my car in for an mot and full service following a recommendation from a family member. After completion, I collected my car and instantly felt that there was a problem. The car was sluggish and pulling back. After driving it to work the following day, the engine management light came on. We rang the garage and Jamie said to bring it in and they would have a look. He told us that the fault showed up as the maf sensor. He said they?d taken the fault off and driven it and all was fine. Again after driving it to work and back, which is a 10 mile journey each way, the engine light came on again. We again rang and the car was booked back in on the Thursday. Friday we had heard nothing so rang to be told it wasn?t ready. Saturday we rang and was told they hadn?t even looked at it yet. Monday evening, after still hearing nothing, I went in to be told they had ordered a maf sensor which hadn?t turned up. Finally Tuesday at around 4.30pm Jamie rang and said the car was ready to collect. I was unable to get there so collected it the following morning. I drove from there to home and in that time the engine management light was back on. We had been charged £215 for work and the issue was not resolved. I rang immediately and got through to the workshop. Michael was very apologetic and said to bring it back as maybe the new sensor was faulty. I need to say at this point that Jamie hid out the back and wouldn?t come and speak to my husband who had gone in my place as I was so angry and he is the voice of reason! The fault was taken off and the car was revved a bit and then taken down the road by the mechanic. The next time I drove my car, once again the light came on. After such bad service I asked my son, who is not a trained mechanic but is mechanically minded, to have a look. He has a device that will show fault codes and again it showed maf sensor. On investigation he found that parts of the engine had not been tightened. And that?s all it took. He tightened what needed to be tightened and my car has been perfect ever since. In total we paid well over £500 for the mot, service and then to resolve an issue that I don?t even think was there in the first place. I?m sure some people have received good service from this place but my personal opinion would be to advise anyone that asks to AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have had previous work done with these a while back recently a close relative of mine had some work done and I had seen them driving the car and other cars stupidly, planting there foot, is there any consideration for people's belongings and there fuel, also there has been many people I know that have seen there cars dumped on a random road and yet no where near the garage, unprofessional and they don't care about people's belongings, fully well known the estate there on are not young people, have some care and respect.

We brought a car from fishers garage March and it was going to have a new Campbeltown replacement and when the car had been to the garage march it was also going to have an mot with themSo when we received the car delivered by joe from fishers garage, we went out in it later that day to get petrol and the front left brake was squeeking like madan and they had to replace the brakes and this shouldn't of happened bcs if the mot was done properly they would of picked this up but they didn't I wasn't happy about this at all

Jamie and the team were able to diagnose and sort an emissions problem which was preventing our car passing an MOT. I felt the bill was fair, and the service was honest. Will use again!

Relieved that they were able to take my car in at short notice after a breakdown. I knew they had lots if work on and the injectors would need to be sent away for testing. They kept me updated on timescales and potential costs. I drove away happy.

Avoid at all cost extremely poor at getting your car done on time certainly in my case I kept getting fobbed off my car kept being put back and put back I got promised that my car would be looked at sorted in the day but didn?t same excuses . My car did eventually get sorted however after having my car 2 and half weeks the car came back to me with another major issue the brakes it never had this major issue before it went in . But again was being fobbed off answer nothing wrong with when clearly there is . After having the new pads fitted to old discs the noise it?s making is not normal . They take on to much work

I have used The Garage for a couple of years now after moving here from Sussex and have found them to be honest helpful and extremely competentI would thoroughly recommend them ... Jamie and his team are very helpful

Do not use them I had blocked oil strainer caused by leaking injectors they quoted me £1400 for new oil pump. Friend sorted it out in one night they recommended new engine or scrapping the car.
