We turn up on the dot of two, sign says they serve until 2pm, can we still order? Yes of course. Food delicious, service (despite them being very busy) excellent and very friendly. If you find yourself within fifty miles of this place, eat there! No review form rooms as we only ate lunch.

Idyllic pub, fantastic, attentive and caring staff - Just a really friendly environment to enter thats full of locals who are more than happy to sit and chat to you.
We played Shut the Box at the bar and had a brilliant hour or so there?Will definitely be back to experience the menu as the food that was being served smelt delicious!

Been in twice in the last 2 weeks for a steak ciabatta, both times have been lovely. Even rang ahead today as I knew lunch service was nearly over and the food was ready and waiting? Still piping hot when we arrived. Cannot fault price or service

We had a roast meal which we both enjoyed for different reasons. I was particularly pleased with the veg. The conservatory was cool, well-shaded, with two fans running.

Maybe just me, but I thought that maybe a tiny bit slow on service, but the food was hot on arrival and was delicious and not to expensive car park is abit small but that unfortunately is probably not the fault of the pub as of where it is and how old the place is in all well worth a visit

Out of the three pubs in linton we did find this 1 the most expensive fir drinks but still a great well-used friendly pub would go back when next in linton

I visited here on a weekday lunchtime and had the most gorgeous meal. The staff were helpful, the food, including a wide range of gluten free options, was delicious and the atmosphere and decor were lovely. Definitely recommend it.

The steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Service great and my partner had the burger and really enjoyed the quality. Will definitely be going back.
