It?s a friendly nice pub with a nice outside area. Why the 3 stars? Well ever since it changed management it?s changed. Prices have gone up and the new bar tender just pushes you to get more drinks. I had a third of a pint left and he was asking if I wanted another one. I caught he with the edge of my eyes observing every sip I was taking. It shouldn?t be like this. Miss the old management.

Fantastic lively little pub with smoking area. Well kept and the ladies bathroom fully stocked with essentials which is a very nice touch. Quirky wall art and funky music on the speakers! 10/10. Equip with pool table fruities and much more.

Went to the Hop Bind for a evening and had the warmest welcome by the staff who were absolutely lovely and kind all night it felt like I'd known them all for ages. Good range of pump drinks and snacks. Had a lovely evening with some of the other customers. Will absolutely be going again. Thank you to the team for an amazing evening and making me feel so comfortable.

Super friendly, bar man remembers you after visiting once. Show a lot of sports on tv. Pub for drinks. No food. A real traditional pub!

I usually avoid village pubs as they can be quite clicky but we popped into the Hop Bind for one while waiting for the bus. It was cosy, good atmosphere and the staff were so so friendly and welcoming. We will be back if in the area

Can get busy, but that is testament to the good atmosphere. Nice pool table and good drinks at good prices.

I have only popped in to pick up drinking friends, as we don't live in Cottenham. I instantly felt a friendly atmosphere & from the Punters & Bar staff. The selection of alcohol was fantastic. Hopefully I could drink one day & get a lift home. Cottenham is very fortunate to have this traditional pup & it's good to see it well supported!

Great atmosphere in the pub, well used by local people, good range of well kept beers, friendly landlord and staff. No food, but right opposite is the Curry Palace, a good Indian restaurant.
