Rehomed a dog on Saturday and could not be happier with my experience with Woodgreen, the handler CJ was so professional she had all the answers about Sasha and took the time to answer all our questions, she was so professional...would 100% recommend Woodgreen to anyone who is looking for a new dog in their life

I went to them as they were well known. But since adopting a dog from them and finding out that the review was far from the dog I got. When I questioned then and asked for help. I'm still waiting and they keep putting me off saying it's the times I chose for a call back. 8 am to 9 pm 7 days a week is very flexible and if they can't call in those times then I don't know what to do

Silly me for assuming you can go and see the cats. I don?t understand, it?s very time consuming seeing individual cats online rather than just seeing what ones you have currently and can get a better gauge of their behaviour..You say you have stopped people seeing the animals for their own sake (to reduce their anxiety..) but in reality it?s just a cost saving exercise isn?t it..RESPONSE TO WOODGREEN:Stop telling people to contact your zombie relations department that won?t do anything we?re not stupid..I have cats on my doorstep because my neighbour is neglecting them but you guys don?t care

I want to know why they have my Mum's cats. They have also said they are not bonded cats- which is completely false. These cats are left to the family after she has died. Give us our cats back. I will take legal action if not.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in Wood Green, my husband usually picks a charity to donate to rather than receiving Christmas presents from friends and family. This year he picked Wood Green and donated £800. Last year he picked the PDSA, he received a lovely letter of thanks from the them which he was delighted to share with the people who contributed, what did he get fro Wood Green? A letter asking to confirm Gift Aid, not so much as a thank you!

We have had experience of a number rehoming charities over the years all have been great but Woodgreen take it to another level. So helpful offering plenty of support and help settling in our new cat.

Considering this is a charity they put my dog in a situation that they knew he couldn?t handle during testing, as such he failed. They knew he wasn?t comfortable with men, and yet they had a man come into his kennel, which is supposed to be a safe space, so of course he growled. He is an intact young male, but put him with a young female dog, so he reacted unfavourably. This is such a shame as he is a lovely dog, but nervous. They knew all these details before they had tested him, as such they wasted our time, aswell as our dogs, when we could have been looking into better kennels.

Absolutely disgusting treatment of my sisters dog, clearly unable to support dogs with reactivity issues, if they don?t find ?the perfect dog? then you are refused. They purposefully make ?tests? to prove your dog is ?dangerous?. Her dog didn?t like men and yet on the day of rehoming and multiple phone calls to explain the dogs likes and dislikes, a MAN greets her and decides to walk infront of a nervous dog. Absolutely disgusting, DO NOT REHOME HERE. They do not care about your pups or their wellbeing. Staff have absolutely no training on how to support dogs and their wellbeing. I would urge everyone to go elsewhere.

I was unfortunately rehoming my dog due to long hours of working. Woodgreen and I had been going back and forth with conversations about my dog and her behaviours, likes and dislikes, what causes reactivity. A few weeks later, Bonnie was confirmed she had an intake appointment in 3 months time. We arrived at exactly the right time and was asked to wait around, already causing my dog to become nervous. Then a male member of staff came (one of my dogs nervous reactors) and said we need to fill out some more paperwork and started to take us to another room. My dog has always done the same thing of lunging and barking, never bitten but according to the manager she supposedly bit the man even though I had control of her.. my dog was then refused admission and now because of this charity?s naivety and inability to listen to the needs of my dog, I will probably now have to put her down. So thank you. The worst communication, awful time management, and clearly does not listen to the needs of animals.

I've had a really disappointing and frustrating experience with Wood Green. Our next-door neighbour adopted a dog from Wood Green in April this year. Ever since, we have been plagued with excessive loud barking from the dog. We called Wood Green out of concern for the dog, our own wellbeing and that this barking was causing distress to our puppy and the exact response we received was "we cannot do anything unless the owner approaches us directly". There is NO aftercare when dogs get adopted and the workers at Wood Green clearly do not care about the impact they're having sending unsocialised dogs into the world.Just for reference, the adopted dog in question now gets left all day on its own, with no social interaction, barking alone in a house with all curtains and blinds shut at all hours of the day. Incredibly sad.The dog is also extremely anti-social - just last night we were forced to walk past the dog and its owner after an evening walk to get back to our house. This adopted dog lunged at our dog, causing great distress. The owner was trying to physically restrain the dog but it wrenched free from her clutches and attempted to attack our dog.The fact that Wood Green have allowed this dog to be adopted, and have not visited once to see how things are going is disgusting. I would not recommend adopting from this centre.

I can't express my gratitude enough to Wood Green for their incredible re-homing for my pet hamster. Their dedication and compassion throughout the process were truly remarkable. My little friend is now in a happy and caring environment, all thanks to their efforts. I can't thank them enough for their wonderful work.
