Lovely Gastropub with a surprisingly elaborate menu that seems to change pretty often, which I think is great.
Great service, the food was excellent and the place is very pretty. Not much else to say, recommended.

A very nice country pub, with excellent food and great wines and beers. A lovely destination on the outskirts of Cambridge. Ideal for an intimate meal, family celebration or a proper Sunday lunch.

First time visiting, it was a lovely pub/restaurant with welcomv staff and lovely menu, including a menu for Gluten Intolerance. The food was well presented and fresh.
I would say this is really a restaurant primarily with a pub ambience. But I do not think you will be disappointed with a large outdoor area and an ample car park. I would recommend for anyone visiting the area to stop by.

Perfect place to have a drink when on a walk or just driving by. The service is great highly recommend the salt and vinegar crisps.

Met as a family of five - the choice of meals was very broad and everyone enjoyed the choice they made
Staff were attentive and friendly and were more than willing to explain the menu choices
Would definitely recommend others to visit and enjoy a warm and friendly setting

We had Sunday roast there. I would say this is really high standards roast I had. The meat is so tender and the homemade sauce is amazing.

Went on a Sunday a few weeks ago with family as it's supposed to be one of the best pubs in the region and was highly recommended by friends. We had an early booking so it was quiet when we arrived so the food and drinks came quickly. The staff were amenable but should have made it clear that if only one course is purchased it is charged as two courses. 4/5 of us had the roast rump beef and only 1 liked it. At the prices you pay you'd expect a better quality cut of meat. I had the belly pork which could have done with more cooking as it was so fatty and would have tasted better if it was reduced. The Yorkshire puddings and trimmings were fantastic as were the desserts. The staff gave a discount because the majority of us were unhappy with the meal which was appreciated. I'd probably go back but not for a Sunday roast.

Had a two course lunch deal. It was deliciousssss! Fish of the day, then sticky toffee pudding. Both perfect, I want some more now ?! And the garden on a sunny day is lovely. In a lovely area too. Hope to come again!
