Lovely Gastropub with a surprisingly elaborate menu that seems to change pretty often, which I think is great. Great service, the food was excellent and the place is very pretty. Not much else to say, recommended.

A very nice country pub, with excellent food and great wines and beers. A lovely destination on the outskirts of Cambridge. Ideal for an intimate meal, family celebration or a proper Sunday lunch.
The Cock in Hemingford Grey is a quaint country pub and restaurant close to Huntingdon and Saint Ives. Awarded Cambridgeshire Pub of the Year 2019, the pub serves local real ales and cider made in the village as well as a range of gins, cocktails and wines by the glass. The restaurant specialises in modern British food, sausages, a fresh fish board and serves roasts on Sunday lunchtimes. This gastro pub is easily accessible from Cambridge via the A14 and a lovely riverside walk from neighbouring village, Hemingford Abbots, and Houghton Mill.
