Everything works so no 1 star but still, actively unpleasant to use now.

Staff keeps selling tickets for the self-service car wash even though it doesn't work - I'm not happy especially considering that you market yourself with your Karcher car wash!
Had high expectations that were not met.

Car wash scratched my car - can clearly tell this is from the wheel brushes as how uniform the scratch is. The staff didn?t seem helpful regarding the issue saying it?s not from the car wash - I did manage to polish 75% of it out but still annoying. Jetwash is always broken. However I do fill up here now and then. Pricey though compared to other fuel stations

Screen wash machine not working and staff knew it, but no out of order sign on - disappointing and dishonest. Car Wash is never working either.

Staff accused my daughter of trying to steal a coffee from the machine as it normally will print a ticket and the machine I was using didn?t give me a receipt so I went to the counter and explained this and another staff member accused me of putting the ticket in the bin and said that she saw me do this.

This petrol station boasts a remarkably spacious forecourt. Even with two vehicles when parked properly for refuelling, there is still room for another vehicle to pass between them comfortably.
The forecourt consists of eight pump bays in total. Six are designated for regular vehicles, equipped with fuel pumps, while two bays cater specifically to HGVs, each featuring two fuel pumps and two AdBlue dispensers.
A recent addition is the striking ?Shell Recharge? EV charging station, which is an aesthetically pleasing feature. This dedicated section has six parking bays, with three charging points, and each point fitted with three cables for versatile use.
Opposite the main forecourt is a designated area for two new ?vacuum, air, and fragrance? machines. This space can easily accommodate five vehicles if parked correctly. The machines are well-spaced, ensuring there?s enough room for customers to park, walk around their vehicles, and use the facilities without feeling cramped. However, sometimes the vacuums are clogged due to inconsiderate customers leaving the vacuum nozzles in the dirt and bushes whilst still running.
The staff here are exceptionally polite and friendly, always willing to go above and beyond to assist customers. I?ve personally witnessed the store manager printing traditional navigation routes for those unfamiliar with modern satnav systems and helping individuals who struggled to inflate their tyres. What more could one ask for?
The store maintains a reasonably well-kept Water Closet, featuring a toilet, wash basin, hand wash, and air dryer. Admittedly, it can be difficult to keep in pristine condition due to some inconsiderate customers who fail to clean up after themselves.
Additionally, the store offers hot food and baked goods, both of which are surprisingly tasty. It has two Costa coffee dispensing machines as well. However, despite being open 24/7, unfortunately our access to the store and its amenities are limited to 05:00-23:00 due to safety reasons as I understand.
Nevertheless, the fuel payments and the purchasing of essentials can be made through the night window. However unfortunately, the luxuries of Costa coffee are limited during the night, as I understand the machines need to be deep cleaned every night.
In summary, this is an excellent petrol station with much to commend it.

Great charging facility , but 11pm need to charge walk over the guys in the shop , nobody about , door locked toilet right there . Ask to use it laughs and says we are closed . Guess who?s getting an email . Thanks shell . Had to pee in the bushes . How uncivilised! And to laugh . Ha

As a delivery driver, I regularly stop here. Staff are always friendly. Has a toilet for customer use, too.

I was surprised to see that they upgraded their vacuum, but even this was clogged and that it's reach is even shorter. (Not really an upgrade, is it?)I couldn't be bothered to ask for a refund, I'll just avoid this place altogether from now on.

I popped in here recently. Staff member was polite and efficient. Essentially my car had been used as a bombing range target by a flock of what I can only imagine was pterodactyls... The splatter was unbelievable, complete coverage! Anyhow, the Karcher car wash I opted for for £8.95 with my shell card was effective and I left happier than when I arrived. Although I did notice a new scratch after but was that the car wash uncovering it or making it? In all Good job.
