Can't really go wrong with a weatherspoons. Love using the app. Its a very busy and bustling place to meet friends for a drink or three. Staff always good.

15/07/25 I had food poisoning, from a Quorn Nugget Wrap. Through process of elimination, my colleagues all had different, but we all had the same breakfast, only I was sick, and not contagious. Sorry but I daren't come back. Lovely building & staff though.

My second visit here, and my first overnight stay. Room was very comfortable with generous tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water.
You only have to show your room key to get free hot drinks!
Great values for money breakfast with all food hot.

Only used the bar and beer garden.not the hotel.
Staff were great .plenty of drink choice. Great prices . Lovely friendly atmosphere

The Wetherspoons Hotel here was first rate. Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable attentive clean and in truth a step up from our usual Premier Inn. The food, drink and service was also good in the Wetherspoons. HOWEVER...there is no parking. DO NOT get caught like we did. Aimlessly looking for parking we drove up to St Benedicts Court Shopping Centre Roof Top parking looking for a suitable parking. We were unsucessful and it's not suitable for parking for the hotel. We were only on the roof top for 6 minutes till we found this out...Ask me how I know? We got done by the robbing lot at 'Parkingeye' to the tune of £60! Park in the railway station car park. Short walk and it's reasonable and safe enough. Have a good stay!
